Is the knothide quiver/ammo pouch in the game? I can’t seem to find the pattern.
cant find them either and would like to know if they are in the game or not
I’ve also looked everywhere i can think of and i cant seem to find it.
Those were added in 2.3 (Zul’Aman patch) so they probably not gonna make them available until they release Zul’Aman.
Yeah I saw this. Could explain it. Thanks.
So from what I was researching, a few other recipes were also added in 2.3, Heavy Knothide Armor Kit, Glove Reinforcements, Leatherworker’s Satchel, and Knothide Ammo Pouch. Everything except for the quiver and ammo pouch are present on leatherworking trainers right now in TBC classic.
I would understand if this was a power spike by inc ranged attack speed or something but its literally just a convenience to carry more arrows… no idea why this is being time gated tbh
Holding more arrows is a power spike it allows you to go longer without having to restock and as such allows you to carry more higher grade ammo vs using what’s around or going to restock.
It might not be a massive power spike or a attack power power spike but it is a power spike non the less. The entire phase mechanic is to keep items at each power level with the content they came from as such as that quiver is a power increase as such a higher power level it should come with its content. If not you might as well allow people to buy t6 crafting boes now via using badges of justice for the rare materials. Just since the power level increase is larger dosent make it different what matters is if a power increase is present or not. Grey area is not a good thing as otherwise everything can be questioned one thing at a time going slightly more powerfull as it’s only a little more power till my t6 example is only a little more power.
That’s a really long-winded way to say “they forgot to put some recipes in game”.
Being able to hold more arrows is not a power spike, regardless of the mental gymnastics
Yea I mean it’s from the normal LW trainer and needs like 315 LW. Not much of a power spike, cuz uh it doesn’t give power. Power would be more IAS. I suspect the reason it’s not in though is to not diminish the rep ones.
No one ever said power creeping and bag slots in the same sentence
It does give 15% increased attack speed, which equals more shots, which equals more power.
Jesus dude let it go. It doesn’t give power over what’s already available
The only thing it gives is no rep requirements, which is why I mentioned that it probably isn’t in the game for that reason
You always act this way to folks who just give honest contributions to the discussion? I think you might need to relax a bit, take a step back from the computer. Have a nice cup of warm tea, maybe a walk outside.
You knew exactly what I meant though. There’s nothing to correct. In the context of someone saying it’s a power spike to have more ammo slots, that is not a power spike
This is correct. It’s an upgrade from the AV quiver by 1%
And the only equivalent quiver is locked behind a rep wall. If this recipe is added, that means anyone can have 15% attack speed from day 1 without getting the needed rep to buy it.
That kind of sounds like a power increase to me, especially since I do not believe the Knothide requires level 70 but can be equipped at 60. That is a big power upgrade for a 60 that did not get the Ancient Sinew.
So does the quiver that you can get with Honored Kurenai rep. That’s 18 slots and ingame now.
Oh, and you get the ammo pouch with the same specs from the Consortium right now.
True, but all those are locked behind a rep requirement. The Knothide would have no rep requirements and be available to anyone at level 60.
That seems like a major power upgrade and the reason it was not released till later in the game.
Getting honored with Kurenai takes about two hours.
It’s a pretty low wall.
