oh, i thought the downgraded version was still in the works. they need to decimate it more and turn down the brightness on the texture the thing contrasts poorly with everything else in the game, it looks like a mismatched stock asset.

Yeah same with the warlock demon form and new mage fire spell. All are far too large and a bit too obnoxious to fit classic theme.

Don’t care for the incubus at all but happy it’s there as a choice for warlocks. Blizz needs to make another pass though because its look isn’t vibing.

Again super happy for warlocks to get this option but the model really could have been dialed back a bit more for Classic. Betting we’re gonna see more SUPER HAPPY FUN SPARKLE spell effects as the season goes on - along with ramped damage that will banish opposing players to the land of wind and ghosts.

forums don’t reflect the wider WoW community. They never have. Most of the people that post on these forums are unhinged maniacs. Like you guys for example foaming at the mouth over a widely beloved feature most of the WoW community likes.

We are actually just classic Andys that are against most retail features.

literally this is the first time I posted on a forum for awhile. I was bored staying the night at my folks house for Christmas and was away from my comp which was an hour drive away, I made one little post and unleashed Armageddon apparently, so yes, you are all looking pretty frieken wild to me lol
A lot of us classic players really really dislike transmog because we want to see the gear of enemies.
Very few of us would care if it was a feature that could be turned off for those that didn’t want it.

this seems to be a forum lurker take, not a take shared by most of the WoW community. Sorry my dude, you are kind of in an echo chamber here, and not a very good one at that.
I care about good pvp in vanilla, the rest is not my problem.
Most the community also picked tbc when it was re-released and went to wrath… so they can do whatever they want.
Yet over the last few years a ton came back to era and servers got super crowded, people cried about missing out on clones, and now even more people are back to vanilla azeroth for SoD.
I’ll take what I believe in over what 'a community thinks any day.

People play on Era daily and have been playing on pservers for years.
The idea that hiding your gear with transmog magic being bad for pvp has nothing to do with some ‘imagined past’, it has to do with people playing high level vanilla pvp and not wanting the game to become worse.
Being a season doesn’t excuse excessive bad decisions. Like we have stated, if players can turn off transmog, nobody is really opposed to it. If it add an ability for players to hide their real gear - it will have a huge negative impact on pvp.
You could just use iMorph… Client side only transmog and can do other things like change your race or just play as whatever models are in the game version via ID codes.
I got judgement gear and ashbringer on my paladin atm but to others its a shovel and some scav blue clothes xD

i dont mind transmog be add after all the content is out but would prefer achivments,rbgs , arenas and dual spec first to be honest

25 is the max level right now out of 60. You have no idea what their plans are or what they intend to change going forward. It will likely become less and less like Era as it goes on. If players don’t want changes like transmog or new graphics go play Era.
People are acting as if we are calling for Group finder or flying mounts good lord

A big aspect of classic is being able to visually judge others gear. If I see a full BiS guy running at me I’m going to know by looking at him. I can also tell at a glance if someone is wearing questing greens. You lose that with transmog.
So, I disagree with adding transmog and it does impact the way the game is played.
