It is true, standard classic is better than sod. The only thing sod has over regular classic is the level cap, and it being fresh. Other than that, it has nothing on vanilla.
I accept that transmog probably wont be in classic in any form it takes, but what I would love as a compromise, would be the ability to make more / all the stuff invisible.
Being able to go barefoot on my druid, or hide my mages gloves, or hide the chest and just wear a shirt, or whatever. Maybe just wear a belt and boots and nothing else. Who can say what would look best?
Once again fundamentally wrong. Vanilla players had a mass exodus starting in tbc. The numbers dipped for the first time so they crammed china subs in their even though a ton of those, meaning for the time period most, were players that bought as low as 1 hour of game time a month. That only lasted tell cata, and by then the only thing left was wrath babies who had only known quecraft.
Classic was made for the perma vanilla community. Not for random retailers. The community that since 2010 has been running it back on fresh yearly vanilla every year since. That community wanted class balance but would have happily just played a fresh with boons and pvp ranked changes. Retail players are beyond delusional.
So you’re just in here shoving your own biased opinion down everyone’s throat starting strawman arguments about how pvp would be unplayable with transmog when what you really feel is that regular classic is better than sod.
Gotcha. Glad we finally got all the cards on the table.
I’m still all in favor of barbershop and transmog.
But no flying. That’s where I draw the line.
That’s the most absurd thing I’ve read. I’m done wasting time on you. Don’t need to diminish my IQ any further.
Do we get to turn your transmog off or are you forcing us to see it?
Agreed. Phase 2 should be really fun for pvp.
Hopefully blizz stays on top of frequent balance changes as they have been doing so far
I love when retail players drop the mask and show how much they don’t even want to play vanilla. Honest to god, just go back friend. You’ll be happier.
I love when I see classic die hards whine about their game then cry at any changes proposed.
All gnomes should be sand gnomes with harness and loincloth. Everyone must look.
Are you going to answer my question?
If you have transmog as your player choice, do I get my player choice to turn yours off for me?
We actually were extremely happy with 1.12, were okay with 1.14, are even dealing with 1.15…
Yet you are proposing things like transmog and dual spec, and seem shocked when people don’t want those in the game…
Yes that would be totally fair
Nah screw that you got no place telling me how to enjoy this game. I actually played it and experienced it when everyone was discovering this world for the first time. There were alot of things wrong that have been done in retail but honestly transmog was the best thing they ever added. It was a simple thing but created an evergreen content that most wow players enjoy. Thats why about 99% of the players in retail transmogs their stuff, even if they liked classic or wrath or w/e more most players love transmog. Yall on the other hand are a small insane minority that thankfully does not represent the wider player base of this game.
Then we have no issue with transmog. The issue is only if we cannot turn it off.
Okay then.
Now all we need is OP to come back and tell us we can turn his transmog off.
Then we can close the thread.
Then the next step is seeing if they even bother adding it
Do I get my player choice to turn your transmog off?
Can we turn your transmog of or not? Answer the question.
Bro grinding for transmog skins are fun. Way better than spamming LFG for an hour
As the conversation is going - if I can turn off your transmog and see your actual gear, there is no issue.
But if I am forced to see fake gear in pvp - then there is a huge issue to the actual gameplay.
