Kill Command needs a fix/buff

Kill command - A move that the hunter needs to have line of sight of the target and when used takes the hunter’s resources for some reason is considered a pet ability and gets hit by the 35% reduced dmg that pets do in pvp as BM. Because of this, let me give you an idea on how weak this move is in pvp.

With a 405 IL, 46% mastery (increases KC dmg by 46%), bestial wrath (30% more damage AND 2 traits that give 846 agi during it), 2 traits that buff KC dmg by 1k each, and the traits that increase mastery by 100% when aspect of the hawk is active (so now KC has 146% increase dmg) AND popping the pvp trinket for another 2000 agility, it hits for… 14k in pvp vs a DK that was just standing there not doing anything.

Granted, there is a talent that increases dmg by KC by 50% when the target gets below 35% health, but even still - with all that stuff I listed, it would hit for a mere 21k and if crit, a whopping 35.5k.

Why is this move considered pet damage when it relies on the hunter and the hunter resource? This move should be considered hunter damage and thus do it’s normal damage.

I do agree that KC damage shouldn’t have been included in the overall pet damage nerf that happened at the beginning of the expansion.

It’ll get fixed in 8.3. Late, just like all the other “oops, this BM ability was messed up all along, but we’re finally fixing it” they’ve done with BM this expansion.

Yes! Hunt is miserable to play being stuck SV or BM

They’ve done what, 1 change to increase a spec’s damage in PvP?

Since BFA Launch?

That’s wierd I crit 40k kill commands and my hunter is only 390 ilvl with 4 KC traits

I think it is balanced around the execute talent though sadly.

I mained BM up until this xpac, this being one of a few reasons. All of BM’s abilities do equally meh damage. Granted, together with all CD’s BM can be pretty strong, however each ability is as ok as the next, nothing ‘feels’ strong. A simple solution would be to make Kill Command nature damage, Nerf other abilities and make it somewhat scary. As well as that another reason I don’t play BM anymore is because of the 50 GCD buffs you have to pump before you can actually press damage buttons. It feels incredibly clunky. BM is versatile and a good counter for some classes, but it isn’t exciting anymore.

bm’s power comes from being able to outlast your opponent, which can be hard to find a partner because they don’t want to play 10 minute games where you can eventually out survive someone, ironically survival is not good at fighting its way back from a beating.

BM doesn’t counter anything in arena now

Everyone has a billzillion slows, stuns, clown hats, perma bubbles heals and a buy 1 get 1 free watermelon at their local stand. Bm is left out on that to

possibly, I know 1v1 BM dominates fire mages, same as SV.

uhhh sheep pet blow hunter up??? what bm doesnt counter fire u cray

Yes it does.

id rather them focus on mm getting buffed than bm

the problem with MM is most hunters don’t want a stand still and fire option. IF they did they would go play classic. Modern day hunter should be firing on the move
