The majority decided that it was best to kick. I find most of the time it’s in error. But, majority rules.

Worth knowing though that the pet taunt is suppose to turn itself off in instanced content but will sometimes bug out, turning itself back on without the indicator on the icon.

Edit: To clear up some confusion. I’m not agreeing with the kick. I was just stating what I thought happened. A bug led to someone initiating a kick and people tend to vote yes before even reading it or understanding the situation.

The world is not a fair place sometimes unfortunately.

okay but the whole group voted for it ? seems sketchy when the growl was turned off.

amen zerakor

Have you ever been in a mob before? People will do things they normally wouldn’t do when alone.

That was what Sylvanas was trying to tell us!

My most favorite mob is the one that recently destroyed its own city and then cried to our leader for aid in helping restore the city and he told them no.

God I love that.

I have never seen a pet get aggro on its own.

If it was a threat problem I feel like the enemies would be attacking a player instead of a pet, ya know? Or was your pet alone the highest dps in the entire dungeon?

People just vote yes without actually paying attention. If the tank or the healer assert something, people just assume it’s true.

Pet growl is turned off by default now when going into a dungeon.

if you leveled, your pet will start taunting even when its off. i don’t expect they fixed that yet.

^ THIS. I was about to come say this.

I’m not proud, but I once kicked a rogue out of a dungeon just for being born.

Players are in automatic nowadays…

But how many times when you’ve been tanking have you lost aggro to a PET over a player if its a threat problem?

It’s gonna be a 0 from me. Just saying.

I don’t tank much honestly, but i have seen some bad tanks. I know my pet got killed in M+ a few times due to tank not having aggro.

Yeah, there are definitely really bad tanks. But I just feel like even if you’re afking mid pull a player would get aggro over a pet.

For that to happen, the pets basic auto attacks would have to be doing more damage than anyone else in the group pretty much (including you). Generating the most threat.

I will note that sometimes the pet growl is bugged so that it turns on in the dungeon. I only notice when suddenly my pet is dead, and it takes a few minutes to fix (clicking autocast on and off a couple times mostly does the trick, but not always).

Sometimes stuff happens man. Best you can do is requeue and move on when you can. Being upset about it only hurts you really.
