You can’t votekick people in real content anyway.
Never happened to me in 14 years and I run A LOT of dungeons. Also never seen it happen in any group I’ve been in.
Maybe some of these “unjust” kicks aren’t really so unjust?
I guess I do learn something new every day.
You can always do Delves for instanced progression solo.
ZERO need to play with kick happy kiddies anymore once you get to TWW.
Another thread full of a Panda screeching at everyone else lol.
Have you figured out that WOW is an optional game, and no need to play it at all?
You’ll find that friends you make do eventually move on from the game. But you’ll also find it is easy to make friends in the game.
I’ve never been randomly booted my entire time pugging. Except maybe like, forming an M+ pug, before the dungeon starts.
I’m sure it happens, but I have no idea how y’all manage it/get that unlucky.
too much work lol just kidding. maybe i should it give another shot.
They spend their time trolling the forums. I’d be more surprised if they actually play the game at all.
I mean, theyre already whining about the community being divided even more since delves are a thing now.
It’ll be entertaining when PUG queues are like 45 minutes because everyone got sick of the kick abuse and does delves exclusively now lmao
Anytime someone complains about lack of friends, it’s that they’ve stopped trying to make friends.
Rarely, do people have friends from other games that follow them into a new one.
Although I have wondered why they don’t have some degree of system that’d be forgiving if you just had bad luck with a group, but made it rougher on people who were repeat offenders with like first one no debuff, and ramping up if it keeps happening. Gives people a chance if the party did them dirty, but gets harsher if people keep getting kicked in a certain time period.
Ive never been stabbed with a knife or beaten with a hammer, but I sure read a LOT of scary news stories about those…
different folks, different experiences
good point, but i’ve always enjoyed the LFD TW stuff for nostagic reasons. maybe if they made Delve Queus in the tool solo mode and not having to fly everywhere, id do it, im just too lazy or got used the clicking menus for my content.
Because you seek out tragedy, that doesn’t mean the world is on fire.

I believe you can even do delves grouped with another player, unless I misunderstood something. I dont think you need a full group or anything.
If you do find some friends…or maybe look for a large casual guild…there are a list of them in the guild finder…look for one with a LOT of members so you blend into the woodwork.
Theres always someone in a big guild to run stuff with…

I can see someone getting stabbed randomly, happens all the time.
Booted randomly on last boss? Lot less believable and non-issue to boot. Most blizzard should do is fix the deserter debuff and that’s it.

Mostly because a ten minute or no penalty first offense doesn’t stop the issues. People would just find a way to abuse that once a day or whenever it reset.
It’s probably along the same lines as why they changed the sanction penalties for chat abuse: 24 silence wasn’t punishment enough and didn’t deter people.
What they do need to re-implement is this:
Patch 3.3.5 (2010-06-22): The functionality of the Vote Kick feature in the Dungeon Finder will now behave differently according to a player’s history with the system. Players using the Dungeon Finder who rarely vote to kick players from a group, or rarely abandon groups before a dungeon is complete, will find that the Vote Kick option will have no cooldown. For players who frequently abandon groups or vote to kick other players, the Vote Kick option will be kept on a cooldown. This functionality will adjust itself as a player’s behavior while using the Dungeon Finder changes.
Why it was removed is beyond me.
Mine was an Alliance group, mostly Dalaran people. Paladin was the tank and shaman the healer.
Warrior was arguing about tanks DPS.
I didn’t pay attention who was at what level.
