I think they both cast Arcane Missiles and it crits for 7.
I am quite certain that Jaina has lost all her power. I have been through the maw with her several times and both her and Thrall do not help much.

Jaina.
Kadghar is powerful, but not on Jaina’s level. She is arguably the most powerful mortal being on Azeroth. Only Sylvanas and maybe Tyrrande/Malfurion have her beat, but I don’t classify them as quite mortal… Especially Sylvanas.
I’d say, Thallysra vs Khadgar might be a good fight.

I dig both, but I vote Khadgar. He has fought many more foes and probably has a decent repertoire from which to call on in mage on mage action.

Hmm, they both have gigantic wads of plot armor.
Jaina’s a girl though, so I suspect Bliz lets her win.
Reasonably, probably Khadgar. He’s not running on borrowed power.

Khadgar is the stronger one if you want to go strictly based on lore.
He was trained directly by Medivh, is the wielder of Atiesh, overall has more experience, and has shown to be on a higher tier. Even the Dreadlord’s chose to try corrupting him over Jaina as he’d be a stronger weapon. The only times Jaina has been shown to have comparable strength was when she had third-party enhancements, like the Focusing Iris.

Lore wise Khadgar is much more powerful, but Jaina has plot armor.

I’m not sure what you’re trying to show here. While I already know Khadgar is the stronger, this video simply shows that it took the entire Council of 6 to teleport Dalaran. It wasn’t entirely Khadgar that did it.
An example that’s more comparable would be how Jaina can teleport and create portals around Azeroth, Khadgar has been able to do them with even farther distances.

No, but Khadgar is the reason we got legendary items in WoD. His level of knowledge of magic and the arcane, is insane.
Jaina basically just does mage spells on a larger scale, save for making a boat float somehow.

Arcane magic is incredible diverse in what it can do. For example, Medivh was able to put a finger on Khadgar’s forehead and instantly give him all the knowledge he would ever need to become an expert at flying Gryphons. The only downside was a bit of a headache for him.

Speaking of boats, how do those zandalari boats not sink? I mean obviously it’s gold leaf up front but also some giant chunks of bone or something.

I know, I’m not trying to dispute that. I’ve already stated Khadgar is the stronger mage.
Jaina if the fight came down to raw power. Khadgar if it came to finesse.
Khadgar isn’t a weak mage, nobody who leads the Kirin Tor could be considered weak. But everything impressive he’s done has come down to having good control over his magic, he didn’t end up overpowering Medivh or anything like that, he just stabbed him.
Whereas Jaina is the opposite. Pretty much everything she’s done has been because of a ridiculous amount of power. She managed to freeze the damn ocean of all things, do you know how much power that would take?
The answer is an absolute crapton.
