Fried onions and grated cheese on top of the hotdog, then mustard and ketchup on top
Boiled, pan-fried, or grilled for the 'weens?
LOL, youâre allowed to eat it them - I wonât touch them though (best diet in the world for me: only scrambled eggs or hot dogs with lots of ketchup). I just despise ketchup on almost everything except a tiny bit on fries is okay (but ranch is better).
If your hot dogs donât look like this:

Youâve been eating hot dogs wrong all your life.
That is a good looking dog.
Ranch? On fries? I think all that baking has started to get to you.
Iâm originally from Brooklyn, NY and growing up it was very common. If fact, everyone Iâve known from North East Coast all the way to Chicago seems to be okay with it.
Chicago style is the only right answer.
I dunno how thatâd taste but the smell of grilling onions reliably makes me feel like Iâm starving. So good.
Yeah, they got it all figured out.
How about neither? Hotdogs are low tier âsausageâ & Iâm not a fan of kecthup, but I donât like condiments anyways.
Either or. Depends on the dog and/or how it is cooked IMO.
You give me some Oscar Meyer log of goo, ketchup and mustard to kill the taste. Throw in a crap-ton of onions too.
A Nathanâs dog, grilled, mustard only + a toasted bun.
YesâŚ
Itâs mainly an East Coast to Midwest thing. You start going further west than Illinois and hot dogs start getting⌠weird.
Mustard!

itâs all g im as white as they come.
I know, but Grumbles you hurt me deeply with the Pineapple Pizza comment. I thought you were above the hatred, lol
The internet may have me biased but I think thatâs probably true for most food, lol.
No. Itâs 100% true.
100% true.
Anything West of Texas and West of Chicago is not worth calling American.
EDIT: Food. We are talking about food.
