Ketchup and mustard on the dog itself, sometimes with melted cheese

Hotdog chili with coleslaw and onions

Those are the two ways I eat hot dogs.

Stereotypical. There’s a difference. I am also white. I also have a sense of humor.

Chili and grilled onions on a split hotdog.

depends. I prefer chili/cheese but convenience store hotdogs i have no problem eating plain.

Also mayo on hotdogs sounds like it’s against the Geneva convention

Anyone like relish at all? I do sweet pepper relish that is pretty mash.

My little brother used to eat the buns with just ketchup and no meat lol

Tomato sauce and (very) hot English mustard. :seedling:

Spicy mustard and sweet relish for me. If I use ketchup it’s sparingly.

What region is relish on hot dogs popular in? Nobody I knew growing up ate them that way and I’ve never been able to get on board myself

I only eat hot dogs with ketchup on them, putting it on top of the hot dog in the bun. I particularly like Ball Park brand hot dogs and buns, as they have a really unique taste. Also tastes great when you BBQ them! Add some chips, I’m a fan of Sun Chips myself, and a cool drink, and it’s a great summer meal! :hotdog:

Nope, not ever. I’m old school - mustard is for hotdogs and ketchup on them is a far, far worse sin than pineapple on pizza.

Mustard! Ketchup does not belong on hot dogs

I think Chicagoans like it that way.

Makes sense, having grown up in Appalachia. Chili and coleslaw is the big thing out there.

I’ll make sure to give relish another chance though!
