When I try to log in, the system is asking me to “Enter the generated digital code.” I don’t know what this is for.
I have the authentication via my phone that requires me to okay new log-ins to the website, but I don’t know why it’s asking me for a code to log into the game - what code? Where am I supposed to find the code?
try inputting a code from your phone autheticator.
I’m not getting any code on my phone though.
ETA: I clicked the “enter code manually” and it gave me a code. Never done that before. So, I guess problem solved.

Well, if you have an authenticator for attached to your account, the game at some point is gonna ask for a code.
Phone mite be outa sync could try removing the mobile authenticator and readding it.
Any particular Blizzard software will probably ask for an authenticator input the first time you use it, possibly the first time after account-related changes, and randomly (at low frequency).
If your IP address changed it will ask for a code also. The first time you log into the game after adding an authenticator it will require a code, after that you won’t have to enter it again because it “remembers” your computer. Perhaps you entered it when you first set it up and you haven’t had to enter it until now.
ISP could have changed the assigned IP
VPN server change
Logging in with a different Wifi connection
etc…
