Keeping servers locked is right call

Good job on keeping the 3 megas locked Blizzard, Grobb still feels overcrowded despite being the smallest of the megas.

Server balance and identity is a core pillar of Classic™
Letting people transfer willy nilly and creating dumping grounds for dead servers is what created the problem in the first place.

Player made problems require player solutions.

Agreed. Happy that Grob is locked. We still have layers after all.

Blizzard locking servers was one of the few things they did right for Classic.

Couldnt agree more, glad to not have queues on the weekend while still maintaining a busy server.

It’s interesting to see that there are varying opinions on this. While these forums often garner complaint threads, seeing that some people are happy with Blizzard’s recent attempts to encourage spreading the population across other servers may mean they are doing something right.

From what I’ve noticed, the only people complaining are the ones who jumped ship from the big servers when the queues hit and now want back in.

Or there are newer players who want to make a toon on the busy server and can’t.

Regardless, I agree … server locks are a good thing.

I don’t have to rely on my wife to log me in half way through my work day or try to use the remote login thingy to hope I can play when I get home.

Yeah its for the better

Completely agree. Bene, Faerlina, Whitemane, Grobb, Pagle, and Mankrik should all remain completely 100% locked through the end of WOTLK.
