Blizzard, you say you listen to your fans…carry through with that. This is a petition to keep at least one of each server for BCC. Many of us came back for BCC and now you are rushing through it and telling us no one can stay. Listen to your fans and keep some BCC servers!
Please voice your opinion to Blizzard as to keeping a few servers for BCC. Be constructive and let your voice be heard! Get anyone you can to come sign!
I don’t play TBC and I have no interest in ever doing so but if there are players that want to make Outland their final home I think they should be allowed to.
100% onboard. We need at least one tbc forever server. It is the only reason ppl chose bizz tbc over private servers, so we could be assured our characters eould always be there.
I think blizzard saw how negatively the community reacted to the WoW Classic era server character copy fee, and they see how incredibly dead every single WoW Classic era server is, and they decided tbc era servers would be just as dead, if not more so. If no ones going to play tbc era, and no ones going to pay for tbc era, then why do it?
Because paying subscribers want it…I have been around since Vanilla and have spent thousands of dollars on this game. I use to work for Blizz and am very loyal to them. There are those that want to see it so they should make it happen. Not talking 10-15 servers…they can have a few servers of each era and if you want to advance you can pay. If you want to park you can.
As far as the servers being dead, collapse them. over all there is a large base of Classic era players but spread out over too many servers. If people have the option to advance when they want to the next era I think you would see a huge amount of people return and stay.
This is not complicated and they are very capable of doing it. But will they.
That would be all good and well if the demand was from a larger part of the community. But the state of classic era servers shows us that everyone saying they wanted to keep playing vanilla was just not true.
Once tbc dropped so did everyone playing classic era. The same would be true for tbc era, which again, is likely why blizzard isn’t doing it.
By all means advocate for it if you want it, maybe blizzard will do it for you. But it’s going to be DOA.
If you can advance when you want then you will always have a fresh population on each era realm. Those that want to stay get new people coming through. By allowing people to advance on their own they are creating a flow across all era realms.
Editing because I guess the OP thought non-relevant comments were off-topic, and sometimes I type things I’m thinking to try to help explain why something like TBC Era would be good for people. Regardless editing the off topic stuff out of respect.
I’ve always supported TBC Era servers, one PVP and one PVP, and said so several times

There are also better places onlne to make petitions than a forum thread that you have no control of with it going off topic, but that’s ok, the post below this one says that.

I would rather people voice their opinion then sign something, so this is a petition pleading for Blizzard to keep some BCC servers.
classic era isnt dead its actually what has kept me subscribed if there were tbc and wotlk era servers then they would be more populated after cata comes out
all blizzard has to do is 1 pve 1 pvp era realm for each expansion merging all classic realms together. this would equal 20 realms if we were to assume classic will go thru to dragonflight classic, not that bad and this will ensure wows legacy will always be a top tier mmo candidate. if people can play different versions of wow permanently there will always be something to do in the game. this game is very chill not trying to keep up with high end progression and getting to spend years playing 1 expansion so you still have time to complete your goals, which is why we need era for more expansions for it to truly shine so we can swap expansions when we get bored or burnt out.

define “dead”because there is actually a small growing community. and i am seeing people all the time interested in playin classic era
classic isnt dead its just low population for era servers to truly shine we need era for more expansions

As someone who is not interested in having a BC server, I fully support this petition. I believe that if people want to stay in BC, they should be allowed to.
