People on these forums like to talk about things to “sound smart” even if they have no clue.
I’ll listen to an active player such as yourself over anyone who looks at some number chart but is otherwise just talking from inexperience.

So youre willing to listen to someones feelings more than someone who is looking at data? Lol
If they’re actively playing yes, absolutely. Every time.
Data is only a part of something and doesn’t tell the whole story. I don’t make broad statements based on data. That’s why I said what I did.
So if the one guy left on kromcrush said its booming, youd believe that?
“Booming” well that’s not the word I’d use… but if something has active players you can’t accurately call it dead. Which you did.
Edit: Just to explain a bit, I played SoM for a few months, sure you can say what you want about “people bailing fresh servers” which I’ve seen you do before, but by playing I was able to see the actual problems with SoM that caused people to quit. The people who did not play make up reasons as to why it hasn’t done so well. It is clear to anyone who played it what problems it had, hell it’s even clear to people who frequent the Classic forum, and those reasons aren’t the ones being made up by people just looking at the data.
The people playing Era have said their populations have been going up on the other forum. Yes it’s still very small, yes it may not be worth it to Blizzard… but ultimately the active players are the ones who can speak to the game.
I also think that TBC Era would have an even smaller pop, and concerns about that and concerns about splitting the player base are ok. People can still make the requests they want to though.
there is a playable population on both the whitemane/biggleworth cluster and the mankirk/pagle cluster that is slowly growing theres several naxx clears every week. but yeah theres some realms with literally 0 people on them. which is why they should consolidate classic era down to 1 pvp and 1 pve realm because thats pretty much what it is. they then could take the freed up server space and have 2 tbc era servers. for era to truly shine we need era for more expansions so people can enjoy more than 1 expansion at a time for however long they want.
This post was if you supported BCC let your voice be heard. Where did it say argue among yourselves? People want to blame Blizzard for the social aspect of the game…we going to blame Blizzard for the social aspect of forums. I only have 25+ post for a reason, I stayed away from the forums like it was a black hole. They have always been toxic, troll haven and you start to read one topic and a couple reply’s in its on a totally different topic…lust like this post. If I knew how i would delete the post and kiss BCC goodbye. I didn’t start this post for you to moan and groan (had to modify my word because it got flagged) about Classic is dead, or LFD or how active you are, SOM, or how smart you think you are…for those that spoke to the topic Thank You @Despitebeing, @Novum, @Drdoom, @Alphasmoke, @Elorn hope to see you in Azeroth! If you read this and want BCC then please let Blizz know, if you don’t want it or want to prove a point…go show how smart you are on another post.
please dont delete post =( its a good post that links all the other tbc era post. these post can def get ramblely with no blizzard response, but i think the majority of people dont care but would like the option to be there to go back and play tbc. for me this is very detrimental on me continuing to play classic wow or not. i want to continuously progress thru vanilla tbc or wotlk as i please.
Putting my thoughts here as well. Hoping they see at least one of these forum discussions.
I completely agree. Even if they just cross realm cluster the TBC servers that would be fantastic. One of the main reasons for Classic was the different era servers. Without the different era servers it just becomes like retail. I love the fact I can choose what expansion to play without the need to worry I won’t have time to play through it before the next expansion. Please Blizzard. At least cluster all the TBC servers together into one cross realm server if you’re worried about server population. I want to be able to experience what the game is like mechanics wise without worrying about WoTC until I’m ready to move on.
all they are doing is deleting relevent content by not giving us era servers. it feels so werid having perma classic era servers but no perma tbc servers
Probably because no one is playing on the Perma classic servers really, so why leave TBC servers up.
i play on the perma classic servers and they are doing alot better than people realize. for the perma era community to truly become great we need it for more expansions
Just speaking from pserver history here, TBC servers really don’t last on their like Vanilla or Wrath ones do.
Don’t think TBC is as popular as people like to think.
id like play vanilla tbc and wrath endlessly at my own pace if they consolidate the servers bettter there will be a community that want to play the game this way. perma tbc will probably do better than cata or mop in the long run
I don’t personally know how Blizzards versions will do, but in general MoP and Cata servers garner a lot more interest than TBC on the pserver market.
blizz could completely erase the private server scene with era realms for every expansion and occasional seasons that last for a few expansions at a time dumping seasonal toons into era
Not if they remove things like RDF.
i could care less about rdf if wrath forcibly progresses to cata
True.
You prefer broad, sweeping generalizations based on fear.
Sure Glinda, keep holding that grudge about something that only you and the forums biggest trolls interpreted in a way that it wasn’t intended.
