Well we can’t dragonride freely in kalimdor, just able to do the races. Don’t get me wrong, the races are fun, but I want to be able to dragon ride everywhere! And open up old flying to those who want it on dragon isles. I also want them to hurry up and add more mounts to be able to dragonride.

I’ve completed about half of them (gold on Regular/Advanced/Reverse) and I’m having a ton of fun. I can’t wait until they do a version of this event for EK, Outlands, Wrath, etc.
It does highlight how comically slow regular flying is by comparison. Going from zoooooming during the races to flying from race to race is a startling contrast. Can’t wait until they activate Dragon Riding everywhere!

The standard flying is safer for those who have motion sickness. Even when there are motion sickness safeguards in place it’s still safer for them to use normal flying.

They are marked with racing flags on the map if you look at the map of kalimdor
If they’ve opened up dragon riding races on Kalimdor, I want my flight form on the dragon isles… NOW.

I’m enjoying the races. However, I wish there was an option to hide everyone else so they wouldn’t keep clogging up my screen :\
500% this.
I’ve crashed more than once because someone comes into my field of vision and I get disoriented (not literally).
I’m not the best at dragonriding. I can manage gold on normal, but only silvers on advanced… and all the other people in the mix make it too chaotic.
other than that, this event is pretty great

The event is cool, kinda wish it had cheering fans / fireworks / music etc…
But yeah some of them ring placements are just mean lol

Makes me wish they added actual dragonriding in the zone, at least just during the event, but still a fun experience!
My only gripe is once you hit all gold completion, you still won’t have enough currency to buy the mount customizations after buying the full set. My guesses is it’s so you can buy the rest with the Eastern Kingdom flying event.
Otherwise was a fun time!

I want to get Gold for all of them. I’m currently on the Winterspring Advanced Race. I’m not hearing good things about some of them.
I don’t think most people like dragon ride for the races.
And by most people, I obviously mean me.
It’s aight, doing the route in Thousand Needles is fun but it makes me wish I could just free fly dragonriding in all older zones.
Also, not being able to use the teleport during the race is lame.

I think dragonriding is ok. But then again, I never have had a big thing for flying in this game. It is just nice to have, in places like northrend.
I prefer riding around on my ground mounts in most cases. Especially in the cataclysm 1-60 zones. Makes no sense to see folks flying around ratchet.
- Having insane amounts of fun.
- I’d rate it a solid 9/10. Deducting 1 point for regular flying between courses. That is such a contrast.
- I love dragonriding as a feature, hope it stays, looking forward to more courses added to other land masses, especially Pandaria.

It’s about 2-3 seconds too tightly tuned for the harder two modes.
Maybe in anticipation of a future dragon riding perk that will make them more attainable? As it stands some of them are nearly impossible to get gold on.
