I don’t know how you folks are doing it. I did one race and am stuck on the advanced rocketway ride.
Edit: I needed to come and complain on the forums, I got gold the very next race. This is gonna be a dozy for my unskilled motor nerves.

Blasted trees. (Not quite the word I wanted to use.)
Can’t count the number of times I make a turn and then face plant right into a tree that is right in the middle of the course to get to the next ring.
All respect to those riders who can get gold on the advanced courses and the reverse because I can’t.
I want to do Legion Stormheim and I’m going to blast Riders on the Storm on my radio when I do it.
All the locales in Legion would be awesome. Even a Dalaran one.
First time in months I sat, playing WOW for 5 hours straight! It was fun!
yes! i love dragon riding
Anyone get their teal scales yet?
This is what we get a blue interaction on? The Kalimdor cup? T_T
what about exodia?? T_T;;;;; noooo
I just realized halfway through the Kalimdor Cup…
Do my -movement speed boots affect dragonriding like they affect regular mounts?
…is this why no matter what I do I can’t seem to manage gold on Advanced/Reverse courses?
Absolutely love dragon riding as a feature this xpac!
And I’m so glad they are adding the races to old world zones, like Kalimdor, because I know a lot of people do enjoy the racing!
However, I’m not particularly fond of the races themselves. (I have issues dodging things going full speed, I steer with my mouse but it seems like the dragon doesn’t turn as fast as I move my mouse.)
I’m more excited for the races as a precursor to dragon riding becoming freely usable in the old world!
When this happens, the fun evaporates. Dragon riding and these races have been such a good addition, but the interactions with the environment are sub par. It feels great to get the timing down on some of the more tricky elements of these races, but when my dragon gets completely stopped by a leaf pixel it’s hard to find the enjoyment again.
Anyone got tips for cracking the timers on advanced? Because idk how to shave those times that much. Unless there’s some secret tech that I’m not doing. Also, in the same vein, who made the timers for advanced and reverse? They are nuts.
Hoping for more teal recolours of the other mounts.
LOL so excited about some lame as(*s) race thats no dif then Mario Kart. They don’t care about you unless you spending $$$ for the TP. This game is lame when are we going to see a real transition like EQ DAoC Lineage, prob never , this game is a poop and its ded compared to FF and GW
Can anyone -please- share tips on how to complete advanced on the Winterspring one on time? I have been trying for 2 days to do this now, and I’m at my whit’s end.
I clip the circle edge just enough to get credit as I head for the next, collect all the boosts, and hit them as often as I can. I also ground skip where possible to increase my vigor for more actions. My best time is still over 74 seconds (Gold is 73).
I have tried using the ascending ability instead of just the boost, but any time I use that even once (aside from where you have to go up the cliff) , my timer is 77 seconds + consistently.
On the Thousand Needles and Azshara zone races on Advanced and reversed, I had a similar issue, but then suddenly would pass it 3 second under gold timer somehow.
Is something up with the timers?
I have tried looking up tips and tricks and of course found vids of people timing advanced on the first try, and even hitting the boosts where they do, I’m still at 74 seconds.
Anything would help before I lose my mind
Super fun idea imo, I liked 13 of the races (only qualm with three races, where it was hard for me to see where I was supposed to fly through or weird shape objects got in the way)
Also the Un Goro one was tough compared to the others.
If it were up to me, they would not be races but tours. I don’t like the rushing and a large part of why it is so enjoyable for me is that the gold times are at least not hard to beat. I hope that doesn’t change.I mainly like going slowpoke and relaxing on the dragon, unless I run out of vigor and hit something and go on the ground, !
As I said before, those blasted trees.
Whoever set out these courses needs to be made to apologise to every player who has hit a tree, ruin or wall.
I’m doing the last golds of the last race and I’m convinced whoever made the Durotar tour is Satan himself.
Yeah that one is a pain, not as bad as Ungoro crater but still rough to deal with
To update, ive now got gold in everything and got the title
Grats,
What’s the title?
