If by awesome you mean running it over and over because you clipped a near-invisible tree branch or tree top, lamp post, or whatever, then yea, it’s awesome!!!
Even if some races are objectively overtuned (looking at you Un’goro Advanced) I had a lot of fun doing the races.
I’m a bit biased, though. Dragonriding has been the thing I’ve loved the most so far that DF delivered, so I just jump at any chance I have to do more related content.
I gotta say I loved going through the old zones and looking at them again after a while.

It’s a standard coping skill, which may not have been instilled in everyone.
Walk away, do something else, go back later when your mind is fresh.
You may even discover that your subliminal mind has learned how to “do the thing”, while you were otherwise occupied.

“doing something else” doesn’t mean you need to log out.
there are other things you can do in the game.
Kalimdor Cup is not currently the only active content.
YOU were the one who wanted to bother people.
You came in here with the sole purpose of poo-pooing something which the vast majority of people seem to be enjoying.

On a lot of the races in the DI, you know where you turn left? Here you turn right. There’s also some spots where you go down instead of up.

The only people who hated Dragonriding during DF launch never wound up figuring out how to get all your talents.
Since then I’ve seen nothing but universal acclaim for Dragonriding.

I had all my talents and still hated dragon riding. That didn’t really help with its problems to be honest. Eventually, Blizzard allowed me to turn off the blue flight lines and keep the world in color. It was better after that. Still get annoyed with it on occasion though.
Still waiting for flight because it will help gathering. Short hops eat too much vigor even with all the glyphs collected.

Wrong. I have all the talents, I know how to do it, and actually find it fairly fun to do the races, and handy to get across a continent quickly.
However, I still hate it for general gameplay. I just want regular flying back so I can use my druid flight form and gather on my characters without the annoying dragonriding mini game.
I’d guess you haven’t spent too much time on the forum since then, right?
That talent that improved vigor regen after resource collecting should just flat give you 2-3 vigour points after collections.
No hitch hiking if your dragon runs out of gas.
people that still play usually like the game. Blizzard claims DF has good player retention again the people that are still here are the people that will be here no mater what. Its hard to lose many players when you start off with so little.
95% of the people that use these forums are actual amoebas and their opinions are useless.

Yeah I enjoyed it too. Played it when it launched for hours, got all golds and transmog.
Un’goro ones were rough.

Man i was going to do a post like this right now, but someone else already did it, jesus dragonriding is awesome and this cup thing takes it to a different level, i mean you can enjoy old zones, race on your dragon, what’s better than that, also this dragonriding cup is a nice way to show us the revamp of the old zones, so i just enjoy it had a GREAT time doing the races and looking at the zones.
Someone said “pandaria next”, man i would love to see that, pandaria zones are gorgeous, imagine racing along the krasarang wilds, and see nat pagle there waving at you while you race, or even kun-lai summit, and while you’re dragonriding seeing people killing the sha, i think that would be an amazing experiece.
Keep the good content and please fix m+ balance issue

Awesome! Great news to hear! Looking forward to trying this out later today! Glad that this event will rotate thru various continents too.
Hoping this is a sign that Dragonriding will become permanent in the future outside of the Dragon Isles!
