No offense, but he asked a question that had zero relevance to the topic at hand. He is also known to be an agitator here as well.
All I said was I think writers are terrible in the game. His reply was nothing more than an asinine attempt start and argument.
Lol, here to sign in and say I’ve got 6 level 80s too and also am pretty clueless as to anything going on in the story.
I’ve never paid much attention to it to be perfectly honest, but at least I knew with last expansion there were some big evil dragons, and the good dragons wanted to beat them but then one of the bad dragons became a good dragon and we saved the world gg.
This expansion I see a lot of weird dwarves that like… machines? And a weird dwarf lady with a scary looking backpack and we follow her around but I don’t know why… and then there’s some birds that flew away… and OH MY GOD VOID LADY.
That’s my personal take on the story so far.
Oh, also spiders.

I don’t put much stock in such things. I find more often than not one person’s agitator is just someone they disagree with. But I digress… even assuming he’s a bad faith poster, your response is still unhelpful.
I see how the question is off topic. In that case though, you’d get more play from me by either ignoring the post entirely or by rebuffing it as off topic without the excuses or insults. I don’t see how agitating agitators gets the thread to move anywhere productive.

Why would I not post about the game I’m playing in the forum for the game I’m playing? If people don’t discuss issues then issues don’t get resolved. Kinda the entire reason for a forum.

I think your complaint has plenty of merit. I see my guild mates log in and 3 minutes later they say they’re bored and log out.
There IS stuff to do however like you said it’s more for just getting it done again before it’s reset and how rewarding it actually is in the end is debatable to keep doing it.
I almost feel like a lot of the content I’ve been keeping myself busy in has been more for me because I like to see my own progression in some ways. Like mythic score and trying to get some better gear because I feel like I’m way behind lol.
Besides that, it’s sort of like a beautiful open world to jump into but not a whole lot to get excited about doing.
And something you said sort of hit me weird was that “there’s too much going on”.
There is actually a lot! But somehow actually not much either. They have all these stones and crests and kej and wax and whatever…but it all ends up spending towards the same little things in the end. Different names but not exactly different content.

All the currencies, reputation, renown, and paths for gearing can feel a bit daunting. They work together fairly well in the long run.

forums are always interesting, is part of my $15 entertainment.
