Should I cap my JP for release of MoP for when I hit 90?
Or will JP reset upon release of the xpac tomorrow?
it wont reset but i dont think its a big deal. i capped honor to get a head start on that but i only have 2k jp and not going to cap probablly.

Yeah, if you enjoy spamming Twilight dungeons, then it’s probably a decent use of time, but if you don’t, it’ll be like what? 2 pieces of gear immediately at ding, versus running heroics, which you might be spamming for pre-bis anyway.
Might as well if you have time but not a big deal. It will help you get the ilvl you need to queue for things a little bit faster.
Looks like you’ll need 435 ilvl to queue for heroics and there’s a repless justice point vendor that sells 458 ilvl gear. Heroics drop 463 gear (and I guess a chance at 473 epics off the last boss).
Dread Wastes quests seem to reward 437 greens and some 450 blues. Normal Siege of Niuzao Temple drops 450 ilvl blues.
there is a 450 weapon available at 86 if your brave enough to go into dread wastes if i remember correctly.
If you’re going to be running the raid right away then you’ll want to cap JP for 1-2 pieces the second you hit 90.
It depends how much time you have between hitting 90 and your first raid.
The less pieces you need to grind for the better, considering you’re fighting RNG with heroic dungeon drops when you have limited time.
Also, it doesn’t take long at all to hit 4k JP.
It looks like there are a bunch of pandaria treasure BoA weapons you can use at 86 but it seems they are 2 hour respawns so most people won’t be able to get them leveling unless Blizzard changed their respawn timers for classic (which would be nice but probably not going to happen).
Probably a bunch of people will rush them and try to get them if they’re up when it goes live 
it’ll give you a couple of extra pieces as soon as you hit 90, but not enough to really sweat it. JP gear in Pandaria is a few ilevels under heroic dungeon gear anyway so its only real purpose is to get you into heroic dungeons a little faster
