The reward at this point is a ground mount, Jani’s Transhpile. (Im assuming ground as it looks like one). The amount of grind to get this one is mindboggling.

Just about every one of those achievements listed has itself multiple other achievements required for that one. I didnt add up how many it was, but it could be hundreds.
And sure, before some of you leap in and tell me you have them, or most of them, I say well done and grats and good for you. Many people won’t have them, some people didn’t even play BfA due to being new players or simply not doing the expansion for their own reasons.
I am not going back to BfA to gind through many, many hours of my limited game time to get any mount. It could be the most glorious thing in the history of WoW and I’d still say no. If putting in content consists of awarding a mount for completing old achievements, I’m not feeling the love. To those happy to do it, well, you are stronger and mightier than me, my dears.

Meta achievements are supposed to be long grinds for completionist, I like it personally, didn’t even know the other last 2 xpac had them until recently. I saw and did these a lot in GW2, glad Blizz taking more notes from other games cuz its far more enjoyable to farm achievements in WoW. I did play BFA, but I am sure I am missing a ton of these since I’ve mostly pvp until DF. My body is ready… eventually

When did we really have meta achievements like this before? I know one was put in rather late in Dragonflight and also see there was one for Shadowlands, but were any done prior to that?
As I said, if someone wants to do it, thats ok, go you. (: But the idea of putting in so many hours to do activities that I didnt find all that much fun at the time and even less so now, is not appealing. Especially as some of them would be physically impossible for me (the Reining Champion is the one that came to mind first). the Visions (which I struggled to do at the time) and anything involving PvP.
Its all purely subjective, obviously. I dont mind doing achievements, I’ve enjoying going after the ones I could manage but this one just feels overwhelming.
They seem to retroactively add in more metas like this.
The Shadowlands one was added a patch before the DF one I believe, but still in Dragonflight, it didn’t exist back in Shadowlands.
I was referring to a differnt MMO that had meta achievements before, I was saying I like that Blizz added them. Afaik none were in the game before SL, and I only learned that SL and DF had them when I was looking at some achievements the other day.

Of course the meta achievement is going to be a gigantic hurdle for them. Like… that’s the nature of meta-achieves. It’s a bunch of them. And it’s assumed you’ve been there through an entire expansion to fill them out, or else will be a huge amount of time + daily/weekly RNG etc.
I don’t know the point of going back to add this stuff to old expansions, but in this case it seems like they have unused models to throw out as rewards so ok.

90% of those achievements are basically “do the zone achievements, clear raid”.
The only big hurdles are going to be the pvp island achievements and the Nazjatar/Black Empire meta achievements and the nature of THOSE achievements is that 90% of them are trivial and 2 of them take like a month of camping every rare spawn.
forcing RNG content that can take days of looking at map hoping for WQ or rares…ugh

It was modified to have the mount and be completeable at any time. The original SL meta-achievement that started the whole trend was a limited-time achievement that awarded the Veilstrider title, which had to be finished before Dragonflight released.
Some people like to go back to old expansions and see the things they missed out on the first time, and it’s nice to have a big bulleted list of everything to see and do in BfA times. I might argue about some of the specific things that were included on the list but I see the point of it in general.

Most of those I for sure already have. Some I think I have. Some others I doubt I will bother going back to get, but maybe when we hit a dead spot in content… or I could just do something else 
Why the heck add some of this stuff for a meta achievement for 3 expansions ago? Seems a bit much to go back and track down for anyone that started late in BfA or after.
Not even a mount I particularly want. So, I’ll sit this out.

I love doing these metas. But no. Just no. They are clearly crazy.
Both PvP Island Expedition achievements? PvP Island Expeditions never pop anymore. Those 2 achievements are quite literally impossible currently unless you win trade, which, SHOCKING, is against the ToU and will get you perma banned.
Have to kill all the corrupted mobs in N’Zoth Assaults? You mean the RNG things that randomly spawn and may never spawn for months if you’re unlucky, and anyone can kill them so when one finally DOES spawn, you might not be the one to kill it?
Killing 1000 Tumors? You mean the achievement that if even a single person is killing tumors with you, means you slow down to a snails pace of like 5 in 30 minutes?
Those are the main issues I see with this achievement.
Both Notorious and Island Slayer are listed on the achievement on the PTR.
Something to grind towards is nice as a counterpart to the RNG lottery typically used for cosmetic stuff. Of course, in this instance with it being a meta achievement it has its own somewhat RNG components attached, but at least you know what you’re getting at the end of the achievement.

Yeah, BfA also had a time-limited achievement for a title.
The PVP island expedition achievements will not be part of Expedition Leader anymore.

I literally played all of the dumpster fire that was SL and i will not to do the cov crap. Its a overkill on a pointless xpac.
Just gonna wait till SL remix and buy the mount then. Pass on this to
