It’s my opinion that if the content included in the meta achievement was good, fun, and engaging, I would have gotten it naturally. But instead they tack on absurd grinds, time gates, and stupid garbage like Iskaran Fishing.
I played a crap ton of BFA and I’m sure I don’t even have half of this stuff.
Yes, I went through a lot of it, and I’d say mine was perhaps a third? Some of them I tried to do but couldnt and some I never did because I did the main campaign stuff and then went onto what we all do at cap. Im not sure what others do but I rarely go back and do side quests unless I discover some special reward from them.
I have a good chunk of it done from when I played bfa. I need to do the mechagon meta achieve which I slacked on and a few other achieves then I’ll have that mount. I’m curious to see if they add in a legion one later on. I like that they are adding meta achieves for the expacs that don’t go away.
Then don’t, this mount isnt meant for players like you.
If you don’t want to experience old content, then don’t do it. Stop being mad because someone other than you gets a cosmetic mount for their accomplishments.
You know, its ok to express an opinion on something even if you aren’t going to do it. Or in my case, express why I am not going to do it. So telling me to not do it is a bit silly.

Having Combating the Corruption achievement on that meta is obscene, some of them have so few mobs as placeholders that it will take you many, many hours of clearing them to see one, and even then you probably won’t see it.

See this is exactly the thing blizzard always does… they are overdoing it again.
They did the same with SL and that huge dog and now they are spreading it elsewhere… like not bad enough with people having to grind certain expansions that they don’t like for cosmetics or other reasons they also want people to extra grind things if they want this mount for example.

i was stuck on the SL meta and they fixed the mechanics for those two debuffs in torghast. gonna continue doing them now
The Nazjatar and Mechagon metas were the grindiest / RNGest grinds I can recall and both were BFA.
So long as I can do it, I don’t necessarily mind the grind. I never did BFA so my only concern would be if it required things you can’t do anymore.
I like these big metas, there’s four achievments that need to be changed or removed for this one though-
Combating the Corruption- the RNG on this one is real, I’d be ok with only requiring ten or so over all of them, but ALL of these mobs is going to be rough once everyone starts going for it.
Essence Essentials- quest pvp essences. one requires pvp island win, the other requires 25 player kills in nazjatar.
Tell Me a Tale- Just increase the drop rates on the quest items and this one will be fine.
Notorious wasn’t marked as being removed like Island Slayer already, so hopefully it’s an oversight and will be pulled. 50 island pvp wins will be really rough.
The rest are perfectly fine, these metas are meant to be massive grinds done over the course of a full expansion, not something doable within a month.
