Just some DH stats

DH’s are:

  • The least likely to be killed first of all dps specs in the game in arena (and actually near equal with some healers)

  • The second highest average DPS ranks across a match

  • The most represented spec at all cutoffs, including healers

  • The second highest win% of all specs. The only one higher is Aug, which is amazing, because DH Havoc is the most played spec, meaning they are playing each other and still having the highest win % meaning their actual win percentage when not facing one another is the highest in game.

This spec is an abomination. You can do so much wrong, and yet win, because of their passive tankiness and high sustained damage with little to no effort. They have some of the best defensives in game (go immune, self heal a bunch, protect your team, remove your healer from cc, omni-directional dodge via blur, immune to most big attacks via short CD).

This single spec is literally killing participation and interest in the game. If you let this continue to fester, without any communication, without any meaningful changes, you will have effectively killed PvP in this game long term. The people leaving won’t come back. PvP is in the edge of a death spiral, and literally no communication what-so-ever is mind boggling.

“We are aware of the outliers in PvP and are currently testing some adjustments we will be sharing in the coming weeks.” - it’s literally that easy, Kaivax.

Their mogs are F tier at most so are they actually winning?

Mogs arent that bad. idk Arms warrior seems pretty oppressive atm

Arms isn’t even in the same stratosphere of DH. DH is the 2nd most oppresive spec of all time, only falling slightly behind Ret’s - I’m gonna crush this entire expansion’s PVP in a few weeks - stent.

nahuh dude dh dies in stuns and all u gotta do is root them on essence break duh

I can only imagine (and hope) that this is a step in the direction of removing or redesigning prestige locked behind rating requirements. everyone can win a game like you just said but not everyone can, will, or has hit 2400. I’m really curious to see how this pans out. I could be way off but if I were a betting man.

edit: oh also, if you do redesign rating requirements you single handedly dismantle RMT. voila!

Sounds like DH players are very talented and attract only the best players .

Can’t argue facts with numbers

i also think they should redesign salary so that it is not based on work

Just line the death sweep

i thought u don’t fotm reroll?

Okay, dh is obviously broken and current dh is one of the most oppressive specs of all time, but it’s still not even close to 10.0.7 ret.

Dh ranges between 60-82% of teams played with about a 53% winrate and 66% winrate vs non-dh.

Ret paladin had like a 95% rep with a 91% winrate into non ret paladins and a 58% winrate overall. That was literally the most broken thing i have ever seen in any game ever.

i ran DH all last season when it was a warrior meta. And i only went for the 1800 mog this season. Been playing a bunch of other stuff out of boredom, but troll away

it’s crazy the goldfish memory WoW players have when it comes to this stuff.

yeah u say this every time you’re playing the most busted spec of the season. idk why you even bother you don’t need fotm to play at 1600 dawg

wtf are you even talking about lol

Sir,

I am reflecting on all the arguments with you claiming you don’t fotm reroll and every time you do fotm reroll it’s been your main since xyz.

you really don’t need to hop on the most over tuned spec for the mmr you play at.

hope this helps clarify.
