Just saw the troll elephant mask in action

I’d settle for them Trolling the set but that might be too much to ask on a Troll heritage armor XD

It’s like whoever made it thought a trunk would be cute or something, there no way they didn’t notice it would make them look like elephants they made sure it went between the tusks…

Yeah 8 ft tall, 3 fingered voodoo monsters don’t need to be cute, they need to reassign this project to someone who cares.

Wish they made Zappyboi scarier, they made us look to cuddly and apparently we’re elephants who have repented of wearing skulls despite the piles and piles of them outside our huts…

ZappyBoi was such a waste of pixels, getting a real troll on high rez like that would have gone so hard!

-_- … Ok fine you got me that was pretty funny. I bet foxing the set would look better!

Yeah we got screwed so bad, why’d they have to go getting lazy on us? Spend a little time looking up the old art and appearances from the rts this set doesn’t do the Trolls any justice, AND WHY IS THERE AN ELEPHANT SOCK ON THEIR FACE???

That’s the sock of failure and shame. Shame sock for a failed set.

Well I believe he should be incorporated in stories where he would actually act like troll. In the Shadows Rising, he was put into a test, and he actually had temporary death which should’ve reevaluate his stance on many things.

We was a welcoming addition in the Old Soldier cinematic, but back then he was a very young troll, now he is meant to be a man. years should’ve done a big difference and I sure would hope he would display some mojo and nerve.

Interesting, I haven’t read that one yet I’ll have to check that out because admittedly I’m also not a zappyboi fan.

I liked him a lot in Old Soldier, then disliked him in following questline, and next cienamtic, then I liked him in the visions of Orgrimmar for helping fellow trolls. Then I disliked him in that Kalimdor book that dumbed him down. But in Shadows Rising he was

saving Zandalari children from captivity and got into trap that burned him alive, and he died for a short time. And then he saw the Maw and saw how Bwon is saving all the trolls he can, and Bwon allowed him back to the living.

Interesting I didn’t realize they were incorporating him so heavily, actually a bit of a bummer because I think his character is pretty lame. Sounds like based on what you said his next appearance is going to dictate who he became and how he’ll be portrayed going forward. Guy is probably going to be the questing face of the Trolls going forward and that worries me with how Blizz has been writing these days.

I hate that I have a dirty mind. Ugh.

Well the book itself has some really strange takes and narrative choices. And I have quite some issues with it.
But I don’t think Zekhan will be any more important than Rokhan. I haven’t seen him appearing anywhere. The new wave of characters such as Thrall’s son, Dagran and others and Zekhan wasn’t among them in TWW. I guess they got the feedback to done with him a little bit.

But I think the strongest parts are that He was meant to grow a bit, Talanji was meant to get over being upset that she is bound to Bwonsamdi, and that Rokhan has her back (I found it cute that he immediately went to Zandalar once he heard that there was second assasination attempt on Talanji), even if the rest of the Horde has shown that they have no spine.

Mask is a bit looking weired I agree.
That look like real elephant face I realized now.
May be this is the best reason they have to retouch of that mask!
Our troll unites denying to be an elephant!!

Ya below the nose is the norm. However after looking at it for a while i realize why they did it… the wooden mask doesnt fir right and the nose part sticks out too much. It looks like a Pinocchio mask. They needed to completely reqork the mask in order to fix the bandana. And as per usually blizz took the easy path and had it go over the nose and call it a day

It’s really odd considering that they already made Zekhan’s mask which fits just fine.

Why not slightly alter this model so it fits the rest of the armor and call it a day?

I was hoping for something cooler then his mask but at that mask wouldve been 100x better then what we got. Just give us that mask and a seperate bandana transmog that goes below the nose and well be set. Hate using thia outdated model.

Yea same, his mask was very basic, and I wish we got something cooler. But in this case, his mask would be prefferable.

I’d say that Zekhan’s armor also wasn’t that impressive. His 2D bones on the kilt was just embarrasing.

True, technically they could have made the Rush’kah big enough to cover the nose and that probably would have been fine, make the top a little less flat, the the cloth more coverage and bam, acceptable. Otherwise they could beef up the wood around the eyes a bit and cover the jaw with the cloth then they could leave the nose exposed.

Just makes no sense that this half backed monstrosity is actually being forced as passable.
