You’re right it is rather Tapir-esque
None of the mask options look good and the one gives me a shrunken head look. This was rushed. They just want these heritage sets done.

It looks like some sort of witch doctor type of mask but it’s weird. I don’t think we’ve ever seen trolls wear such a mask while brewing up their voodoo potions lol but it would have looked cool with this mask if they were. Otherwise the fantasy of it is pretty lost on me when I look at it.
Makes me want to turn my troll druid back to tauren way cooler set honestly. Also it looks like a feed bag hanging from your face what are we supposed to be with that won’t be hard to figure what’s what when it comes to an alliance chestnut mare horse and me a troll with a feed bag on his face.

Why did they make the other two Rush’kah masks so tiny? Would have been in better keeping with real voodoo culture for the masks to have been almost comically huge rather than embarrassingly small, those can’t be used for anything, the trunk mask is even worse in the live game than it was on the preview… this was a huge oooof

Yeah it pretty thoroughly managed to miss the fantasy of being a Darkspear Troll aside from the fact it’s made of wood and 1 shoulder is tiki-esque. If the original lore included them wearing those masks it would be fine I guess, wouldn’t make it look any less like an elephant though and if you look at the nose from the side it looks insane like a beak or something, the noses are big enough without slapping material on top.

Looks even worse in the live game, I didn’t think it was possible but the mountain of cloth on top of the nose might actually be worse than the trunk itself.

I must admit, it has been fun running forward, suddenly stopping, and having the trunk swing back and forth while going bbrrrtt like an elephant. Yes, I am easily entertained.

It’s pretty ridiculous. Not too thrilled about the Forsaken heritage armor either. It’s weird they can do amazing ones like the Dwarf one or Tauren, and fail so hard on the Troll one.
