Would be great if they’d apply changes to the Heritage questline as well, while at it.
I would be thrilled to see that but have they ever done anything like that before? We’d need a Red Shirt Guy level event just to make the acknowledge what they did wrong and even then they still might not add or take away from the quest. I really wish they would though, what a butchery.
Ugh where is Red Shirt Guy when you need him!? Does anyone have his contact info can we get this guy on board please?
Red shirt guy might be our only hope. Does he have an X account or anything we can reach him on?
I found him on X it looks like he hasn’t been active since 2023 I don’t expect he’ll be much of a help.
Legend has it if you wear a red shirt and say his name in the mirror 3 times he appears and advocates for changes in game if he supports your cause.
it seems that someone has an Elephant fetish
Names! We want names! They might as well have slapped some ears on it while they were at it, elephant had to have been what they were going for there’s no way they didn’t notice while making it unless they either aren’t human designers or designed it on a human model aaaaannnnndd ok actually maybe it was an accident, then again it is right between the tussskkss.
I promise it isn’t me! I would pay out of pocket to have it changed if that were an option!
I have but It’s a ghost account, I don’t really use X at all, other than write one comment once per year or like something.
Perhaps we should write some big list of the errors and mismanagement and then link it to him, and ask if he could comment on it back.
I’d be more than happy to join you in that endeavor, if you wanted to collaborate on a piece. If he doesn’t follow up with us we could send it to someone else. I don’t have an X account either, I basically keep off most forms of social media.
Me too, This is why even if I do have X account I almost don’t use it at all.
And well It would be great to just make one big list of points. I believe Whiskeybuda’s thread did well on most of the issues.
But another things is we need to have a a very specific request to Ian to help us highlight the issues.
It’s a great thread I’ve got very few notes for it, an excellent place to start for sure. Having him address the lore retcons regarding the abandonment of the Darkspear Loa, the overall failure to follow up on existing plot lines and failure to establish future plot lines, also the besmirchment of Lukou and perhaps requesting that he advocate for additional explanation for these choices, if said choices cannot be explained then to advocate for change.
I can paraphrase that and make it less wordy but I’ll have to be at my desktop not out and about on my phone as I am now. That’d be a decent core request but it’s worthy of a tweaking, I’ll devote further thought to it later.
Oooo you guys are actually gonna contact him? Can you Cc me on the email or whatever?
Me too man, but it looks like they’re just gonna brush this under the rug with the rest of the mistakes they want to pretend don’t exist.
For some reason the Troll scandal is getting the PvP treatment.
Why was it so difficult to show the nose.
What do you mean?
PvP is in dire straights in essentially all areas of play and Blizz hasn’t put out a single statement on any of the issues and basically just pretends there isn’t this whole scandal level issue going on and acts like they’re monitoring everything and everything is fine. Basically exactly what they’re doing here with this set.
pvp will always be a nightmare so long as pvp and pve aren’t decoupled.
It’s simply impossible to balance both these notably distinct game modes together.
I agree, as far as Class Tuning is concerned they do the buffs and nerfs for PvE and PvP separately already. Unfortuantely overall class design (utility and mobility and the like) are all intrinsically based around PvE which makes it all wonky in PvP.
The issues with PvP go so much deeper than just Class Tuning which is quite literally the only Blizz touches and they screw it up by leaps and bounds every single time.
This post does an incredible job of laying out how severe the situation actually is with the biggest issues being completely unrelated to Class Balance.
