Correlation may not be causation but the two things aren’t irrelevant.
You made the argument but it was totally inaccurate and doshonest
WPvP. PvP servers are no more connected to BG’s than any other server and what happens in World PVP and PvP servers should be used to justify the denial of Merc mode not at all, That is your lie.
Merc Mode need to be in the game and this #change needs to be made.
Blizzard did not ban a third party addon. They removed the BG numbers from the queues.
World PvP has a lot to do with BGs when one faction camps the minority faction so heavily that they stop playing the game unless it is instances PvE where they don’t have to deal with that faction.
If you want merc mode it’s in retail, the iteration of WoW that is 80% horde.
Go play that instead, stop being an entitled brat that wants faction dominance with all of the perks that come with not being able to do as you please in the other 90% of the game that isn’t instanced BGs or raids.
It was an addon that allowed Alliance players to game the system to form premades.
That’s not what the word “artificial” means.
No it was not. I literally ranked in AV.
“Totally accurate and dishonest”
Yeah I’ll let others on the forum see you for the cretin you are trying to deny that three step logical sequence. They can take that notion to the rest of your argument.
Looks like we found someone who abused the addon before it was banned.
This is what happens.
Blizzard makes changes, then it starts the slope created out of people saying:
“Well, they did this so they might as well do this thing I want too!
If not, I’m going to rant and rave on the forums until I get my way.”
Bandwagon riding Horde are a PROBLEMATIC, over-populated faction that already go out of their way to grief players and call it, “PvP Skillz!” …
…then you have the nerve to beg for a mode that allows you to have the best of both worlds.
There was not an addon lmao.
It was done through Discord.
The removal of AV premades happened by removing BG numbers in the queue, which made it so people could not figure out if they had queued into each other in voice on Discord.
This happened about 2 weeks before the first wave of Rank 14s and made Warsong Gulch the meta - where premades continued stomping PUGs.
It also made a huge portion of alliance stop queuing BGs because they could not find premades and AV had a significant horde advantage due to where their cave spawn was - something fixed in TBC pre patch.
Similarly the horde camping alliance off PvP servers made them stop queuing BGs because Classic PvP is expensive and consume heavy - and when you can’t farm open world you can’t make gold.
Sorry that your faction is too dim witted to see how queue times are a player created problem with a simple player solution - or full of players who really don’t care until it effects their bottom line on living out their Chad Gladiator fantasy’s.
They randomized the queues too didnt they? Made like an artificial queue or something.
Something like that. I think they made it so multiple BGs opened at the same time every X amount of time and filled instead of just pulling straight from anyone who queued.
Crazy enough this also contributed to longer horde queue times.
So Seal of Blood for Alliance Paladins is just okay then.
The argument that alliance paladins should not get Seal of Blood - while simultaneously complaining horde queue times are too long - is a good meme.
Your name looks really familiar, pretty sure you were one of the original members of The Enclave on Grobbulus.
There was not an addon lmao.
It was done through Discord.
I’m sorry but this is the ULTIMATE lie I’ve read on here in awhile.
Sorry that your faction is too dim witted …
This is an identity politics argument. Sorry you are too dim witted to admit the truth on a public forum.
I dont care about if they got Seal of Blood.
What is hypocritical is people banging on the drum of ‘danger’ of #changes while ignoring the obvious major change made to favour Alliance players while denying the obvious need for Merc Mode…
that is the huge lie that gets spread.
just multiboost a multiaccount of allliances players and grind to 70 then que as alllianc whatever bg you want to get into faster as a horde thats what everyboday else does
I can only imagine the amount of unbridled rage as Orc, Tauren, and Troll all go Draenei after they were unboostable and all these other players actually leveled them.
I made this toon a month before pre patch on Grobbulous for human racials in arena.
What a strange comment to make regardless. You realize this isn’t the Grobb SubReddit where all of the virtue signaling soccer moms and concerned fathers know what The Enclave is right?
As far as AV and addons being banned being the cause of what killed AV premades - it’s factually incorrect and not even an argument. You either ranked in AV as alliance and know or you didn’t and talk out of your rear end.
It’s definitely identity politics. This is World of Warcraft. Horde have negatives they need to suffer the same as alliance, it’s just the entitled get a lot more vocal about it when they have to deal with negatives of their choices.
This entire reply makes no sense.
Reply again, but this time actually explain something in understandable terms.
Your ranting gibberish doesn’t compute. I just see “zug zug merc mode me have good point”.
If alliance paladins did not get Seal of Blood, but horde paladins did, horde BG queues would be triple what they are now.
