Many Horde see it as a blessing and not a curse. With the biggest alpha from horde taken down, you can officially declare the Patriarchy crushed. Because that’s the only way Blizzard sees Saurfang. Labeled just like everything else IRL.
Right cause Female Undead Hitler is somehow a feminist icon…pull the other leg mate.
Not Horde.
Let alone not even a major icon.
Considering how some feminists act, that might not be far off. I am talking about the ones that make the news sounding like they want men subservient to women instead of equal though.
Surely even those types wouldn’t be stupid enough to co-opt Sylvanas…she commits geneva breaking chemical warfare on a regular basis and straight up burned a tree that the characters are on record stating contained only civilians.
I hope not, i really hope we never see Gallywix ever again. He’s one of the most vile characters i’ve ever had the displeasure of seeing. I’m sure there’s some narrative art to include a fat disgusting pig of a character, but it’s just not something i’m interested in.
I’ve always prefered Gazlowe.
Oh, at least one would be, because all that matters to them is “taking down the patriarchy”.
Teldrassil is literally a Matriarchy though.
Did Blizzard actually remove tens of thousands of night elf NPCs from the game and render the entire race unplayable?
OP is complaining about main characters that will no longer have roles to play in the Horde storylines. You’re responding with hyberpolic references to background lore. If anything, the night elves are about to become more prominent thanks to Teldrassil, not less.
Yeah, but the orcs/saurfang would be the patriarchy and some might not see Teldrassil as a matrarchy because Tyrande rules alongside Malfurion, a MAN. These are the kind that if a man is involved, of equal rank, it is no good.
Look at it this way, most feminists would agree with you, but the group I am talking about would be more like what the WBC is for people of faith.
Sounds like these people drink a whole lotta bleach then to get that dumb. Because Malfurion can only rule part time thanks to being a Druid…meaning he’s basically the Queen of the ruling pair in terms of the amount of ruling responsability he can actually shoulder.
Sorry all I hear is
“We had stuff happening in our narrative while you guys were on the backburner being ignored.”
And yes, yes I know ‘but Legion waaahhhhh’ big crying baby nonsense. If you want to be present in the story you gotta know that there’s gonna be conflict.
And hey… Who now happens to be The Main Character in the game who drives everything forward? Who’s an annoying pet boyfriend self-insert… Wait that one sucks, ignore that. Who got awesome cinematics? Who’s… not really supposed to be the leader. It should be that one taller goblin lady that everyone talks about who’s name is escaping me right now… And Rasta just shooed off to make way for a more interesting leader in Talanji. He could have taken Genn’s offer and surrendered then broken out of the Stockade like… 2 days later. Everyone else does.
More or less, either that or, to use a WoW analogy, they would be the kind that would want Tyrande to say “Hush Malfurion”. Mainly, unless it is the men wearing the aprons and having no power, the bunch I am talking about would never be happy.
What part about getting ignored afterwards did you miss out on?
Now watch when the writing on the wall presently addressing the Alliance schism for the warmongers demanding vengeance and those that want to just stop fighting comes to a head. The Alliance splinters apart or have a really awkward lore relationship and these threads turn into it still being Horde bias because it’s depicting the Alliance falling apart.
Almost like the Horde hasn’t had this happen to them twice now where the Alliance basically whistle nonchalantly saying “Yeah at least we have a stable faction.”
Just because it wasn’t addressed in the immediate doesn’t mean they aren’t holding onto it as a plot device for future content.
Like I said, the writing is on the wall for a huge lore story that will likely span an expansion dealing with the Alliance dividing itself amongst people like Tyrande who want vengeance for what happened, and people like Anduin who are trying to say “Hey look, it happened and it sucks but we finally have peace now.”
Then like I said, you’ll have a whole expansions lore basically tailored around the potential breakdown of the Alliance, but for gameplay reasons it’ll be resolved by the final patch without the loss of any leaders and you’ll still argue about Horde bias because sure the story was Alliance centric, but it was in a negative light. Much like WoD and BFA have been for us.
Also lmao, a year later and people are pretending like they ever once cared about the tree or acknowledged its existence.
Inb4: “I’LL HAVE YOU KNOW I SPENT LOADS OF TIME IN TELDRASSIL IT WAS MY FAVORITE PLACE EVER!”
This would be a matter of opinion, which is highly subjective! not a matter of sight! mmmky
all that needs to be said, you win the day and the internet
That is obvious horde favoritism. Does it take more time and thought to write plot lines for the horde that’s in constant flux or the alliance that does nothing? This shows you where the devs’ collective mind is.
Gallywix is alive.
Slyvanas is alive.
Nathanos is alive.
Saurfang was killed by YOUR warchief.
Also we lost plenty of night elves because Slyvanas is evil. So don’t really feel sorry for you. (Except for Saurfang, Slyvanas should have been the one who got killed not him.)
