One of the best aspects of New World you can do all professions your not locked down too only two main professions…your character is allowed to …tailor…wood work…make potions…black smith armor…leather working …make furniture …cook…fishing…and the best thing you can own a house you can decorate as you like.

If WoW had any brains back in MoP when they started that little farm thing at the Hill…they would of grab onto a bigger aspect and let us have a house we could put our own stuff in…then came Garrisons…nothing but a Template everybody had the same thing…the only thing you could change in a Garrison was positions of where you placed your bldgs a bit…that’s it…

Judging by your achievement score on this character, you never played original Vanilla or original TBC when they came out…Vanilla was basically that for 40 levels of just running around for miles trying to find mobs to kill and find quests before you even could get your first mount…you spent an hour killing one specific mob to collect 6 hoofs…the barrens area ask the old horde players about that one now…all those quests got changed with coming of Cata…but still you seem to never had played in that time frame…like I did or many others did…

To this day StrangleThorn Vale walking and questing in that place back and forth. Today’s players are very spoiled where us veterans are used to it.

well then you won’t pad time played numbers making alt 5 to be the blacksmith since the other 4 lack it.

No other reason for this crap setup I can see. Many games this is standard fair. you want to make everything? Well have at it.

Amen…and dang if you played on a PVP realm and were in STV it was a murder zone for sure…even on pve realm it was dang hard in that zone moving around the mobs…then there was the accidentally flagging if you were using aoe stuff…LOL…lord help you if you did that and there was 2 or more of the other faction near you …

modern games of recent mmorpgs have surpassed WoW on that concept. Unfortunately I don’t see WoW ever keeping up with their pace anymore though they can, but with the current staff and leadership. A big no they can’t.

I read some reviews and watched people play for a bit, if I wanted to play Skyrim again I would just install that. And that’s basically all it is, another Skyrim game.

Ok, what’s your point? Vanilla was 15+ years ago. Times have changed. Players have changed. Many of us prefer to have fun when we play games.

You should see their customization also. People think WoW doesn’t have many options. Woah doggies you haven’t seen anything until New World’s. You pick a “male/female” body and then all the faces are unisex, all the hair styles are unisex. All the faces look horrible. There aren’t a whole lot of options either.

wow a new game and people are trying to make it a success - isn’t that novel, guess they don’t want to lose their well paying job.

If you were enjoying it so much, you would be playing it not posting on this forum.

You posting on this forum means it isn’t a replacement for wow and blizzard has no need to worry one bit.

The only concern New World presents is with their PvP player base, which lets be honest is probably the smallest percentage of the player base.
