just played the game for an hour, i am now level 5, this game runs butter smooth, and was very easy to get into the moment i was mobile, no big mmo for dummies tutorials, no lag, only issue i had was driver memory dumps, had to update my windows 11 graphics diver updates, and it ran just fine, playing the game a little bit i will now say blizzard needs to be worried, the devs are working hard, they’re getting things fixed fast, and the servers are up asap, and i love how you’re allowed the choice of playstyle, you can switch between any 2 weapon type you want, staff and sword, sword and shield, sword and bow, it’s nice having choice again (not referring to blizz), what’s neat, is the fact, the server list shows what servers it’s connected to

No elves and no classes. Where is the uniqueness in anything? Even the armor is trash looking. Just because you are tired of Wow cause you’ve been playing for twenty years doesn’t mean new world is better than Wow
this is 2021, you don’t need classes anymore, as long as you can cast magic and choose from a selection of weapon types, there’s no more need for a class system, you yourself based on the choice you make makes the character unique

I’m glad you love it! There’s a game for everyone. 
I think it’s subjective. I played for a day and then got a refund from Steam. I really didn’t enjoy it, and the general chat was inane and stupid. It breaks immersion hearing guys talk about their crown jewels for hours, in very basic terms!
I just want a good community, and I’m not going to wait a week for the inane conversations to end.
I’ve been playing FF14 a bit, and the community there is amazing. Also playing WoW (as always), and have seen nothing but kindness on my awesome Oceanic servers. Almost died in the Maw on my Alt? That’s cool, four… FOUR Alliance came to my rescue!

you think you’re seeing change? you do realize the changes being made is going as originally planned right? everything being changed is being made after we did all the grinds, they are not hearing us, they are ignoring us, and pretending like they’re hearing us, they have nerfed things in this game so they can buff it back in the next patch to make it feel like a buff

Miriel is my Main Bank Alt, so spends a bit of time in Org. I sometimes get involved in the discussions, they can be interesting.
I’m sure there’s a lot of crap talk, but New World was crap SPAM… just general chat filled with guys talking about sex and bits! Geez it gets boring.

But, as I said, it’s great you love it. I don’t have to love it as well.

I like in eve how my main does everything. For the very few things in eve character bound (corp/faction standings) its nice. everything on 1 char is possible.
week 1 I need isk…go spam pve in a mission crushing battleship.
week 2…I want to be rogue like. Covert ops, stealth bombers, etc.
week 3. fleet needs a “healer” (we call it logistics or logi for short. I hop in one and I rep (heal) people
week 4 we need something big and tanky. lots of it. And I hop in my dreadnaught. Big capital class ship. She takes a few hits. Quite a few actually.
think aion does that too, but we won’t talk about the issues in aion
