I won’t repeat it for 5th time, feel free to ask devs if you get a chance. There’s a good reason why MMORPGs don’t add flying, and the sheer fact they give flying in x.2 and x.3 patches is most you’ll get.
Only thing you can argue against is pathfinder grind, but flying in x.0 and x.1 is no go.
Seems like wow’s most successful years basically gave us flying right at max level.
What? The whole reason you are arguing is because you want flying from the get-go right? In the new expansion? Yknow, the one that just got announced and doesn’t have flying yet? The one you haven’t played yet?
If you think flying is reason why those expansions were best, you haven’t been paying attention.
Everyone will say their issue is the reason why WoW is doing poorly.
Again,
I’ve never said flying was the reason those expansions were successful. It definitely didn’t hurt their success now did it?
Ah, ok. So you admit you have no argument to counter mine.
What argument? What is your argument?
What is yours?
You act as if that’s not how it was in the past. We never had flying during new content. We had to wait till max level and then earn the gold for it. Not everyone had flying the moment they hit max level.
But I’m not even advocating for that back. Pathfinder part one is fine. Part two needs to die in a fire.
Flying shouldn’t be gated for a year. It should be available at max level like it was when wow was most successful.
Now do you have a logical counter to that?
It is available at max level, after meeting certain requirements.
For example - Flying in BC (when it was initially introduced) was gated behind gold. If you didn’t have the gold, you didn’t fly.
Now if you were arguing against time gating, thats one thing. But keep saying “available at max level”. Its always been available at max level, after meeting other requirements.
Don’t be obtuse. Clearly my issue is with the time gating. There’s no reason flying should be gated for a year.
Available at max level means: available to obtain as soon as you hit max level.
The pro flying crowd always was the majority. Even blizzard admitted that, it is just that at the time they couldn’t PROVE they were the overwhelming majority until blizzard announced no flying at all and ‘everyone’ was mad at them (their words).
Then say that, not say “max level”. I’m not being obtuse, you are the one who’s not clearly defining what he means.
At max level means: available to you as soon as you reach max level. That’s what it has always meant.
No, it doesn’t. Max level means, level capped. As in you can’t go any higher.
Is this the first flying thread you’ve ever clicked on? Because it sure seems like it.
No, its not. Rather it is the first I am choosing to participate in because I’m getting tired of people not being able to give descriptive feedback.
Saying “PRODUCT IS BAD BECAUSE IT DON’T DO WHAT I WANT” doesn’t help people fix the problem you are having.
Now if you said “I don’t think flying should be time gated after hitting max level by tying it to an achievement that’s unavailable as soon as you hit max level”, NOW you are getting somewhere.
