Just let the non flying crowd zone and play with themselves in a server

There isn’t really a “non flying crowd”. The ones who seem they are likely fly as we speak. Just because people like pathfinder, think it is fine, etc. doesn’t mean they are “non flying crowd”. No one posted they wanted flying removed years ago to where Blizzard was going to remove it.

Do some research yourself. There is a forum post currently active with a small group of people asking for flying to be removed. There are also people in this forum topic who asked for it to be removed. Most of them come from the classic crowd.

BLIZZARD, not the community, wanted flying COMPLETELY removed. A huge majority of us complained because we love flying. With the results coming in, they decided to bring it back but gave us their compromise. Just because you might not like their compromise doesn’t mean it isn’t one.

Anyways, Blizzard wanted us to experience and put in some work to see what they spent all their time, money, work, late hours, all nighters on. God forbid they want that huh? They didn’t want people who just power level each expansion via dungeons, pvp, minimal questing etc.

How I enjoy the work and art is up to me. Da Vinci does not get to tell everyone how to interpret his paintings and how they should enjoy it. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If I say that I enjoy the artwork more from the skies then that is my truth. It does not have to be yours. Slugging around for a year makes me detest the game and the art team for thinking that I wont enjoy their work if I am not grounded for a year plus.

So they gave us pathfinder. You complete almost all of it by just playing the game. So you have to do some rep “grinds”. They are insanely easy and fast compared to rep grinds from Vanilla, BC and MoP. These are a joke compared to those. Even that quest in Vanilla in Desolace to pick one of the 2 factions and grind like made all for a quest.

The most boring type of content that is similar to paint drying. Anyone can get flying as long as they watch paint dry for a total of 50-100 hours. Nice game design there.

So here is your option. Don’t like pathfinder then don’t do it and don’t fly. Or, go play another mmo since flying means this much to you. Too bad pretty much all other main stream mmos don’t have flying though

FFXIV is the biggest mmo out there next to wow. They have flying unlocked off the bat. You are clearly wrong there also. Do some research.
