Yes. But players had three different timelines to play through based on whether Gannon won or loss and after WoD I really don’t have high hopes at Blizz’s handling of any expansion relying on time travel.

If anything the fact that Breath of the Wild and games like it in the Zelda series pull off timetravel well at all is overall an odd phenomenon, usually time travel and it’s inevitable paradox loops are the death of a series/medium.
Don’t forget that Nintendo also released a picture of the timelines that helped keep things straight. (While also dumping the CD-I games into the non-canon verse.)

It’s not Classic when you offer paid mounts and boosts in it. Classic Vanilla was done right. TBC wasn’t and knowing them, they’ll double down on TBC strategies because it netted them more cash. Watch, WoLK will have the token so gold buying will be a thing.

I agree, so I can finally have Player/Guild Housing.
That’s exactly what I don’t get from players. Like he wins, ok, do we just go back to being regular people and ignore him being live somewhere in the cosmos? If he wins that means back to back with the same villain of the expansion.
Also players want them to restart WoW. Meaning everything we’ve collected, spent not just on Gold but real money, mogs, mounts, pets, etc; will go to waste. We can’t just reset everything and expect majority of the players to be happy about losing everything despite paying with real money.
The Jailer would go from being the worst villain to being the best villain if this happened lol.

I’d be happy if they wrote it all off as just a dream. All the effort put into Shadowlands is probably going to be ignored just like prior expansions and I’d like that.

I still laugh at myself during the pre patch in Silithus. Here I am running around using camouflage to avoid the goblin mobs cause I don’t want to kill them. I thought the Azerite rocks would be laying all over the place. Nope! After turning the quest in to Mathias Shaw I’m pretty sure I /slap him.

If they erase all the work i have put in my characters then i am finished and i can garrentee most max level raider guild will leave too, i am not starting over from scratch, i have 6 characters on both factions that i have been playing since wow started, if they all get reset to lvl 1 i am finished with WoW
I have seen them apologizing like people say "excuse me’ when they want to pass by you.
I have never seen them apologizing and admitting that something was their fault and recognizing that was not a good thing to do whatever they were apologizing for. They always say they regret something “did not worked” but they always try to impress that “it was good”, you just did not “understood how good it was”, and that is why it was not good “to you”.
