This is me, exactly. I played 1 main and 4 alts through Legion. I played a lot of Legion. I got none of them. I am entitled to none of them, and neither is anyone else who didn’t get them for whatever reason.
Making them available would create a hollow world, indeed. Thanks for reminding I need to bother doing Twisting Corridors layers. I wonder if we will see a similar thread to this one two years hence where the same folks are asking for TC appearances?
Hollow world? They’re weapon/druid models that hardly anyone that even did them uses. I don’t use any of the ones I got. They’re also really not all that uncommon.
flagging this guy because ppl don’t agree is lame as hell. His post is sincere, and it’s what he wants. He didnt troll and inflame anyone to make his points.
I dont think they should be accessible anymore, MT was an actual challenge back in the day, by the end of that patch, gear made it way more easier, at this point it would be no challenge at all. Mage tower gave us a legion artifact skin awarded for your effort in current challenging content, if you wanna bring back something that wasnt easy to get now so everyone can get it why bother making it a challenge in the first place; then you could also ask for them to put the unobtainable Arena season mounts back for Marks of Honors.
What we need them is not to bring Mage Tower back or their skins, but we need them to give us new content like Mage Tower that provides us with a challenge and a new unique reward (could be a xmog spec set, a unique weapon based on your spec/class, etc), they can even make it for the whole expansion and scale it each patch like they do with m+.
Something I’ve always wanted is the pre expansion event set for WOTLK, the recolored Paladin tier. But despite my want for it, my love for the fact there are players around that I can look at and realize “Wow! That guy was there during that time!? What a beast!” Outweighs the desire I have for seeing it become some token set purchased with time walking badges or some other currency. Not every single item in the game needs to be readily available forever imo. It would take away from what I feel makes certain aspects of the world special.
I said opportunity. As in it was available dude. No one was restricted from getting the chance to do it. Limited time things don’t get exceptions because you didn’t know about it. I don’t get to invest in apple at the price it used to be because I couldn’t invest at the time… You are the stupid one here
My thought is: even if the cosmetics aren’t there, the questlines should be re-added, as, especially with MoP it’s not just a fancy mog you miss out on, but actual story points/plot, and entire zones in Pandaria.
Personally though, I’d say, with the advent of the Chromie Time leveling, they should just be re-added to the game as the entire point of Chromie Time was to let new players experience the old content as they want instead of that ‘jump expansions every 10 levels’ it was before
Nice cropping there. And no, your point’s still not valid bc it’s not like having those items will give you an advantage at all. All that would do is for selfish players (not even good ones) say “I don’t like that”, and to me that’s not enough of a reason to not bring them back.
