Please don’t. They are gone. Never, ever let them be aquired again. Spend no resources on this demand.
I do not want to play a children’s game where crying is the path to achievement differentiators.

Same. I have the old Argent Dawn and Olympics tabards. If they let us revisit that content to receive 'em again? I’d shed no tears. They’re rare, and occasionally someone will bat their lashes with awe on the characters I use those on. But if someone really, really wanted it? They should have a means to do so. Maybe with the caveat of it being more expensive and/or more of a challenge, sure.
It’s really not that big a deal.
Has Ybarra ever tweeted or streamed his stance on Mage Tower, whether back in Legion or recently? If so, that’d give us an indicator on whether this may ever happen.
Why not the same thing? I’m waiting for a solid argument that doesnt translate into “because I dont want other kids to have the stuff I got from the pinata earlier :’( sniff sniff”
My picture I made for my mom in first grade?
Of course I’m okay with more appearances being made available to earn in game, but not the MT ones. Call it whatever you like, but time sensitive achievements have always been around and are a source of prestige. You shouldn’t take that away from people. It’s almost like a loyalty reward for some players.
And also, as I said before, if you’re going to do that with the MT achievements, then it would only be fair that all time-sensitive achievements be opened up. And that is a state of affairs most people would not take kindly too. I’m sorry you’re didn’t get, but that’s the breaks. Deal with it.
I don’t agree. We worked hard to get the appearances at the time due to its exclusivity. Taking it away would void all our efforts. I say, make a new mage tower with new exclusive appearances.
No one here is keeping you away from anything. Reality is.
Blizzard isn’t going to give you those pixels. It’s not going to give you a chance to win those pixels. It’s not going to give you a way to get different colored versions of those pixels. It’s not going to re-invest an absurd amount of time, resources, and money into restoring the complex web of interplaying skills, talents, modifiers, and systems to “bring back” something that was explicitly designed to be time-limited . That’s not just objectively reasonable, it’s logical.
But you want it to act in opposition to that reason and logic, because you want it.
Countless thousands of other players didn’t get their appearances from the Mage Tower. They couldn’t beat it, or they weren’t playing during that expansion, or (like me) they just didn’t have time to get all of the appearances they wanted. They aren’t throwing tantrums on the forum demanding access to it.
Thanks for proving that all you are is a troll.
I don’t really have any strong feelings on this one way or the other but Mage Tower Challenges were definitely not a pinata. Lots of people who played in Legion never got them simply because the content was really hard. It was hard in a way that WoW usually isn’t and unlike most other forms of content, there was no way to bypass the difficulty aside from getting good.
I’m gonna keep waiting then
Congratulations. Your terrible attitude toward everything is awful.
We’ll deal with whatever the final outcome is. Your opinion has been noted, as has mine.
But ultimately, neither of us gets to decide what happens. Blizzard decides that, and only time will tell what perspective prevails in the end.
I only got the bear and cat appearances from MT at the time. I didn’t get anything for my other specs or other alts. I’m not whining about it. You’re whining. You want everybody to make a special accommodation for you and now you tell me you were here during Legion? Well, you can blame yourself for not bothering to pursue what was on offer then.
Again, this is a you problem.
Adamantly against this.
As someone who never got a lot of the Mage Tower appearances, I’d rather never get them than sacrifice what it brings to the world and game. Certain events must remain meaningful and certain items must have a sense of wonder and myth behind them, especially in an MMO. There needs to be items and appearances that make you want to explore the past yet also be excited for the future and make your own memories and achievements.
For me a world where everything is readily available and nothing has meaning or attachment to a particular time is an empty hollow world. For an MMORPG to me having those sorts of items is extremely important to my enjoyment of the game, even if it means I myself may never get that item. But you can bet your sorry butt I completed all layers of Twisting Corridors!
What, bitterness and resentment?
Pretty condescending if you ask me.
Reductionism, that’s another good one. (Still waiting )
Lovely. I’m thankful I learned how the forum block list works. Keep trying to garner a reaction I guess.
I wonder how long until he comes up with a good excuse.
