I know I have to do it and I just can’t summon the will power to do it.
I don’t think WoW is dying, but I’m getting the sense that 8.3 is not reporting something they were expecting and they’re here to find out why.

Love the assaults but after that and at a certain ilvl im finding myself starting to go slowly back to 8.2 content. On my main and alts.heck i don’t even know ill be around for months like i did in legion mage tower really kept me going.
Wow, thank you for letting them off the hook. Very gracious of you. I’m sure they feel they dodged a bullet.
Yeah, it’s a weird topic to choose, and weird timing for both at once.
As far as “they’re communicating just like you want so be grateful and STF U” goes, pretty sure the kind of communication people want to see is Blizzard listing out the concerns they’ve seen and what will be done about said concerns.
Edit: LOL Akston coming in to be the meme right after I posted this, that’s my boy.
There’s no such thing as “time spent playing” metrics, just monthly active users.
Don’t you feel you dodge one every time I let you off?
I guess… point taken.
“Why doesn’t Blizzard interact with the community? WoW must be dying”
blizzard interacts
“How dare Blizzard interact with the community!! WoW must be dying!”
I think we all agree I’m terrifying.
Pretty much im realistic just because i might leave it would be silly of me saying wow is dying just because i burned myself out on PTR with the content out on live now.
And I’m still waiting for anyone at all anywhere in this thread to tell me where I claimed WoW is dying.
I could build houses out of all this straw.
Yo. You’re expecting Akston to give a normal response? The champion of the Chimp-out on behalf of Blizzard? Whatever you’re smoking, I’ll take some.
My apologies. You didn’t say WoW is dying. You just rephrased it with similar words.
“How bad are those time spent playing metrics?”
You are asking how little people are playing, and how the lack of people playing means something is wrong. And basing this on CMs posting.
Just like I don’t expect you to give any response unless its a “bash Blizzard” one.
I’ve never had a problem with him.
My honest first impression when I saw the polls was “the cloak must not be as popular as they’d hoped.”
In this thread, I learned that means I apparently hate Blizzard and WoW is dying.
Some people take disagreeing too seriously. I can disagree with you here on this, we can be stubborn in our disagreement, but in another thread I may like your comments.
Might be because they might be planing something again like it in shadowlands and if people don’t like it now they won’t later on as well.I don’t like it because of the timer instead of a number it’s a bar same stuff different skin.Just like Mythic+ but solo instead.
Blizzard has their best PR people working on the feedback and this poll of the legendary cloak is the latest attempt to prove they are trying to listen but the sad truth is reality what is going on at Blizz HQ is more like this
Yes.
Because something is going awry with 8.3. Otherwise CMs who haven’t had a presence in months would not have shown up at essentially the same time, one to ask how many people are doing their cloaks and the other to explain how to do cloaks. And the root of both of those topics is at some point, someone asked “Why aren’t people doing cloaks?”
It could be that they’re doing something besides cloaks, like legacy content or moving to farming mogs, but someone above them noticed that the core feature of 8.3 is not getting the time spent metrics they were expecting and sent both of them out to find out why.
They already have to expect a downtime in player retention until the next expac, it happens every time. So something clearly rang as a red flag.
I’m glad to know you aren’t stalking me to see the positive stuff I say about parts of the game I actually do like, so thanks for that I suppose.
In any case, would rather be the way I am than be someone who comes in hot like Terry Tate for a company he doesn’t even work for.
