why does the state of pvp continually get worse and worse?
it’s not even like it’s just a little unfair, a little tilted in the favor of pve. it’s essentially a slap in the face. “we’re going to give you what you asked for, but make it so terrible that you’re going to still have to grind pve to pvp”
spread the word. blizzard, start paying attention. hire stoopz as a consultant before you keep making terrible decisions regarding pvp.
Well, Random BGs have deterministic rewards, plus you get consolation prizes for losing. So it makes sense that it takes a bit longer.
No PVP stat makes sense to me, PVP stats and PVE stats just drive a wedge between the community. I think play between both game modes should be encouraged, one way to do that is lower the barriers of play. PVP stats raise the barriers.
No PVP stat makes gearing through PVP irrelevant because you can get better gear in less time through PVE. You know this, I know this. You’re trolling, but I actually want devs to read this. Try getting into a 15+ with honor gear, I dare ya.
Simple. It isn’t worth the effort. You can get better gear more easily and less time-consuming through PVE. Why grind 90 hours of BG for gear that’s the equivalent of a mythic 6 when you can get fully geared in mythic 15 in 40 hours? It’s not complicated.
I don’t normally feed the trolls, but this isn’t about you, Bloomy.
Just dont answer back to blooms he’s just trolling you. I agree with what you said. I think it’s dumb your pvp rewards are still locked behind pve content.
Honor can be argued, but it’s non rated content and even honor from WoD first season sucked, it was 600 ilvl that bumped to 630, base conquest was 660 with 690 bump.
It wasn’t until s2 when honor gear became the s1 conquest gear did it end up staying competitive with conquest.
But conquest isn’t irrelevant, get duelist and grats you have equal to mythic
Stoopzz is way off on his average honor gain per BG. I know this from practical experience of doing some BGs on beta (you can almost get as much honor for losing than winning (not first daily) depending on the map and how your team does). It’s still a hell of a grind though.
I’ve posted this question in several places and I’ll do it here too.
If honor is used to upgrade both honor gear and conquest gear (that is what is in the beta right now) and you can get 197 gear from doing your covenant story campaign (something you will do to progress your soulbinds/conduit tree) why would you spend any honor on purchasing or upgrading honor gear?
considering AP is just a form of gear progression, no
I mean things like m+ or rated pvp where the content is always scaling and is only capped by performance. you don’t have to add a carrot to those activities because the reward is in progressing the content
