Just Got Kicked For No Reason Whatsoever

oh…and the most pointless of all lmao…

  • kicked at the gate by four clowns from Tich who clearly used me to get into a 5 man run lmao

I’ve been playing the game for 20+ years and I’ve done more random dungeons/timewalking dungeons than I could ever count. I’ve gotten kicked a few times in my history of playing WoW, and I can atleast be humble and admit that there was a reason for that.

It’s been a long time since I’ve gotten kicked though, and in this case, there was nothing said and I genuinely don’t know what went wrong.

I was and still am in shock.

I saw “hey fatty” in the chat box and boom “youve been removed from group” lmao

VTK should just be a 4-1 vote to auto dissolve group as a whole.
It present setup has always been abused far more than the problem it was supposed to solve.

Yeah that sounds horrible, I’m sorry you had to endure that. I’ve witnessed a lot of kicks in my time doing random dungeons lol. I’ve also initiated plenty of kicks, but I try to be fair about it.

For example, if someone DC’s, I try to be reasonable about how much time passes before I might pass off a vote to kick. For the most part, I feel like 90% of the time vote-to-kicks are passed off with a mutual understanding in the group.

But I guess there are times when it will be abused, and I was definitely reminded today there will be times when you get booted beyond your control lol.

Sometimes people you get grouped with are just jerks that get off by doing stupid stuff like that. Laugh it off and have fun.

And by default it should be off as soon as you enter a dungeon or raid. As in the system literally turns it off.

I turn mine off prior to queuing just incase.

This happens when a group doesn’t want to play with you.

oh I dont take this circus show game seriously.
I think the first kick was probably the one playing panda. After that its just impossible to take this crowd seriously. Im mostly just laughing hysterically wondering what their parents did to them to make them turn out like they did lol

Trash kicks are about 99% of why I stopped healing for the malcontents.
Im paying attention to what four players are doing when I heal…I KNOW if someone deserved the kick or not. EASY 9/10 kicks Id see were for garbage excuses.

It was hilarious in one run, one of the most memorable ones. lol.
Vote kick pops for a DPS…fails.
Same thing for another DPS. fails.
The at the second to last boss vote kick pops for the healer. No reason to kick the healer, hes kept us topped all the entire run so far.
Theres only ONE person left and thats the tank so we know who is trying to kick everyone lol.

So the healer kick fails.
Tank sits down on the floor and refuses to pull.
Im on Beastmaster so I pulled for him lol.
This clown got up and ran back the way we came in and bailed lmao.

We finished just fine without him. lol
But we’re talking after the last boss and they informed me he had tried to kick me too lmao.
It was a perfect run. No deaths. No one was pulling side crap. Went like clcckwork other than the vote kicking attempts lol.

some folks are just miserable and hate their lives and they drag their trash mentality into the game with them.
Thats pretty much the reason you see kicks for no good reason.
Misery loves its projection.

I’m aware, I often have two max level hunters.
Truth is, Hunters somehow or another find a way to flick on their taunt in dungeons.
It’s not too farfetch’d either as they are accustomed to playing with taunt virtually everywhere that’s not a raid or dungeon.

I don’t doubt that this is true in some cases, but I assure you my pet taunt was not active. I’ve been playing a hunter since vanilla. I am intimately familiar with taunt toggling. I can’t think of the last time I had it enabled either.

I wish that was the reason, honestly, because then I would at least feel better about getting kicked…

No, they don’t. It’s not against any rules to kick someone.

Of late I’ve had to check on my levelling hunters as my pets are not being healed as regularly as they have been, I’m actually looking to see if growl is on the mobs, checking my bar to make sure it’s not turned on.

Like I said, I turn it off prior to getting into queued content. Of course there are occasions taunt does to go back on, tank dies, we’re almost there, healer is up, my pet can assist in situations like that.

Ive had them tell me my MAGE water pet pulled crap and was assured in here that they CANT…at least at the time lmao

You may not know the reason. Even if you had some way of knowing, it might not have been a good reason. But there was a reason.

I mean, I know that much already.

Yeah, fair enough.

if you dont already…id macro this and use it after EVERY fight

/petpassive
/petfollow

Reason being is the pet AI is evidently programmed to mimick a wayward pickup truck bed sort of dog that doesnt quite obey its owner very well, lol.

Ive seen the pet run off and pull crap in another room that I never even targeted AFTER the current fight is over.

Also…the one talent has Fenryr and Hati pop on occassion and Ive been having a hell of a time keeping them under control even with the macro above…they dont seem to obey it at all.
Ive SEEN them run over after a fight, I fire off my macro and my two pets run to my side, but Hati or Fenryr will run off and pull a bunch of crap anyway.

I stopped using the talent until they can get the crap fixed, personally.

So, I’m going to ask, were you in a dungeon that required you to jump down to another level at any point, and prior to jumping, did you dismiss your pet?

This is the same for mages and locks.

I know, as a player that mains a hunter, pathing sucks.
