It’s almost as if it’s AI-generated; I have no idea. That or the budget for the voice acting was stupidly low.

Exactly! There’s definitely a fake sounding issue with these VAs. They do not sound real in any way shape or form. They just scream AI that blizz used to save money on hiring actual voice actors.
Some CFO at blizz basically decided to opt for the cheaper of the 2 options. It’s becoming a serious issue in gaming and creative content.
Their voice has a weirdness; I can’t describe precisely what it is. If that makes sense, it’s like a weird smoothness in their voice.
I don’t really care because I’ll never ever play the race or ever have my audio on to hear their voices but this is definitely very sad

Yeah those are pretty bad. Fortunately there’s no reason I’d ever play a dirt dwarf anyway.

I don’t know, Male Earthen Voices sounds more like a Pandaren than a Dwarf, for some reason.
I think its important to remember that earthen are not dwarves.
Theyre living robots made of rock.
Sure the dwarves come from earthen afflicted with the curse of flesh, but theyre not the same race.
So having different voices makes sense to me.
Then they should have just straight up given them the Stephen Hawking voice. At least it would have sounded better than the AI trying to sound human we did end up getting.

I dont have any issues really with the voice they have.
Took me a little bit to get used to how slow it is but otherwise its fine.
Problem with the slow voice is it doesn’t make a lot of sense outside of the fact they are constructs. If they are constructs, and are slow to speak because of it, why can they roll Fury Warrior and go nuts with combat speed? The entire race is dumb lol.

The female version…I listened to that first and thought I was listening to the male version voiced by someone young or trying to do a Peter Pan impression.
The male version sounds like Loremaster Cho spent decades living in a cave.
But…maybe this all will sound better in-game within the actual environment, context, etc. Or not.
Its not bad, but it is not good either. It has 80s cartoon feel to it. Like if they try to mix Gi Joe with Jem and the Holograms on the females, and a Shirt Tales/Snorks VA trying to impersonate Keith David to sound more baritone in front of a person they have a crush on.
