This is the typical response from people with nothing else going on in their lives and expect everyone who wants to try HC to have zero responsibilities as well.
If you want your game mode to survive you need to allow people to recover from unfair deaths a few times and keep playing if they die. We need cheat death potions or mechanics to prevent DC deaths and other similar unfair deaths.
Telling people to “jUsT go AgaNE” might as well be telling them to quit.
The ball’s in your court HC enjoyers. Keep spouting the meme line or have a HC game mode with people in it.
The ability to transfer my toon over to my guild on non-hardcore is a game changer. I wouldn’t be as into HC WoW as I am without this option, and would probably be just another one-and-done player.
Every time I log into HC its popping. Even with 10+ layers it feels populated and vibrant. Even after a week. In game, at least, it doesn’t feel like its dying.
And after the world first HC (no death appeal) MC run, the hype is only growing.
