Also, this is a pretty harsh comment. Like dude, seriously, calm down. People have every right to post there opinions about things in game. If you don’t like these type of threads, then simple, just don’t click on these threads!
But seriously, stop trolling the forums. It isn’t going to do you any good.
Please just remove flying entirely! The game is best played on the ground, where you can see other players, interact with them, and where all combat and content already happens!
It should have happened years ago, and being strung along because people dislike actually contributing to the world and rather just flying over the game is doing no one favors, as we constantly have threads opening about it.
Enough said, take a stand blizzard! No more flying until the expansion is over.
Pathfinder wasn’t a “compromise”. It was simply a backdoor way to go ahead and remove flying from current content until the expansion is over. In other words, they’ve removed flying without removing flying. Because patching it in at the end of the expansion (regardless of how quickly the requirements are met) is de facto removing flying.
At least the zones are easier to navigate than the hell that was Legion. Highmountain, Argus, Broken shore, Suramar city(before flying was a nightmare).
Contrary to your deluded belief, I saw tons of people, consistently, all the time in BC flying around, exploring, dodging the dangerous stuff that could shoot us down, doing the flying dailies, etc.
For the billionth time… they can create twice the amount of content if they’d stop this war on flight, make some areas dangerous to fly over and create some areas that had more dailies that you could only get to with flying.
You’re making stuff up with this dramatic “I never see anyone!” fallacy.
You should take yourself over to the Classic forum and stay there.
I would actually like to see the flying mechanic changed since it upsets warmode a bit.
I’d sort of like mounts to have energy or something unless you’re in a slipstream for long distance travel
Fortunately, flying doesn’t change the fact that the quest objectives, the combat and content, are still on the ground where people have to be to complete them. All of the trash mobs between the flight paths and the quest objectives - you know, those things that people use horse shoes and bardings and flight master whistles and goblin gliders and whatever other means are available to skip and avoid - that’s not anything that I’d consider actual content.
Alternately, they could just give us flying after completion of pathfinder 1 and that would eliminate quite a few threads complaining about the lack of flying as well.
Removing flying entirely won’t stop the complaining, well, except in the sense that anyone who values flying that highly will just unsub at that point. Do we really want the game hemorrhaging more subs than it already is?
