So? They were complicit in genocide. No one, nor even Saurfang turned against her immediately. They showed up to defend her sewer when they reasonably could have let her rot for dragging them into a war with a genocide.
Then they went and committed more war crimes in kul tires. Read A Good War too, the part where Saurfang thinks about how much the troops are enjoying the March on Teldrassil, and where he admits to himself he’s enjoyed it too.
Also please point out where I said every orc clan should die? I was pointing out that the end of wod had grommash shouting about draenor being free and suddenly getting a pass for everything the iron horde had done under his leadership.

One second they’re Light-controlling sadist, the next they’re “redeemed” and become light infused, and now they’re practicing Blood Magic in Nazmir.
Imagine pretending a group that has had nothing to do with their Horde story would destroy their Horde story.

Part of it is yes, it can be harmful if done wrong, and I don’t trust them to do it right. And it’s not just harming the horde version, I also think they have a better than even chance of being more of a generic fantasy elf that will water down the wow story with an unnecessary race added to give people the ability to play something that doesn’t fit in with the warcraft series so far. What you edit out is just as important as what you add, I think playable alliance high elves should stay on the cutting room floor.

There already have been polls online on which race people desired to be added.
There were about 15 races and high elves had about 90% of the votes.
Obviously, like hecatone said, this does not represent the majority of wow players.
But we can easily deduct based on the overwhelming popularity of high elves on the wow forums, reddit and mmochamp over the years that it is by far the most requested race in the game.
No, were never going to find a representation of 100% of the wow players unfortunately. Unless Blizzard forces everyone into a survey before they log in or something lol.

Don’t really see the issue with requested races being added for the sheer fact of popularity.
As much as people want to hate on Elves, they’re consistently the most popular races in WoW.
Horde is literally 80% Blood Elves.
Blizzard also added 2, non-elf races to the Alliance recently, and they’re now the most underplayed and underrepresented races in game. 
Funny how a little thing like popularity, works.
