Just give the alliance high elves already

I mean, the point of Faramir in the books was “We don’t need no stinkin’ elves or magic blood line, humans can stand up and do what needs to be done on their own” And then the movies just make him Boromir 2.0

Same, I like Aragorn well enough, but Faramir is awesome and a better fit.

You realize that Anduin spent the first part of the expansion talking with Saurfang, who knew exactly how the WoT was pitched to Horde Leadership and the Troops, and tried to kill himself because he hated what happened at Teldrassil?

That might have something to do with him not thinking the entire horde was out to burn Teldrassil?

Again. The Frostwolf clan orcs explicitly fought and died over refusing to kill Draenei. The Laughing skull also had zero interest in doing so. Why are you calling for their deaths?

Hell, the Ogre clans and at least a few Orc clans like the Shadowmoon had to be threatened with violence if not extinction to join the Iron horde, so again, that’s a crime worth death in your eyes?

To be fair Faramir even in the movies was second only to Aragorn in terms of nobility of action. He was able to send Frodo away when even his brother could not do so.

I think you are again projecting your desires on the whole group. The vast majority of the player base doesn’t care one bit about playable Alliance high elves.

The vast majority of the playerbase also isn’t arguing against giving Kid A Vanilla Ice Cream when Kid B already got Chocolate Cake

I mean feel free to mention High Elves in your average realm’s trade chat or LFG. Most people will either say we already have void elves, or they don’t care.

Forums are where people come to complain or make demands. None of this is representative of anything.

because something something some random individual who has no ties to me playing a high elf is harmful somehow.

For real though, I think it’s more about people thinking that their race is being stolen even though the requests is based off the fact that high elves are already part of the alliance.

Except (and it’s been awhile since I saw the movies, and I’m more remembering internet nerd rants =p) in the books he was much more in control of himself as opposed to the movie where it was more of “But he managed to regain control of himself BEFORE getting pincushioned by orc arrows like his brother did” thing

donot no of all this

Or maybe there’s a lot of "I don’t want them to get a carbon copy of one of our races when the writing team tends to go to alliance good/horde evil, and this just opens the door to mess up the blood elf story in massive ways. Plus a bunch of people pushing for them are also pushing headcanon that turns the villains (SC) into heroic paragons of virtue.

You’re right, but it’s big enough, something you continuously downsize Heca.

It’s not about “thE eNTiRE pLAYeRbASe”.

Most WoW players don’t care either way, and a large majority would like a High Elf AR.

The dissenters are your small group of die hard antis and the 95% of the rest of dissenters just don’t want to hear about High Elves anymore, not exactly going to die on the hill like you plan to. :man_shrugging:

Prove it.

I’m unclear what this is supposed to prove I said an unbiased person would sympathize with Kid A rather Kid B wanting to keep his vanilla ice cream as his special treat after he started getting Kid As chocolate cake.

Yet it’s okay to get a carbon copy of one of our iconic races

You’re so cute.

Pretending you don’t have a presence in the now 7+, 300 likes and more Pro High Elf threads, and don’t know the amount of background support this Alliance Race has.

Eh, I don’t agree with the sentiment that playable high elves demonizes blood elves. And I disagree with the people who want to paint high elves as the good guys and blood elves as the bad guys.

The only true pure evil race are vulpera.
