Riftblades in sw vision. Purple light, or spectral galaxy light.
Trigger me timbers matey. How dare someone not agree?
Are High Elves painfully edgy hipsters? If so, then I guess this would work.
(Need the Elven experts to weigh in here, I know we have a lot!)
It’s not Blizzard’s fault that helfers refuse to understand their desires were fulfilled in Void Elves and that they were told no about playable high elves.
It’s not Blizzard’s fault if helfers keep asking for something that isn’t good for the game.
its look like you have some werrds friends
i know who is talking about but its literally meaningless, since, blood elves are high elves, and if they are, high elvs are playable, don’t matter if another group of then isn’t
we have plenty of exampled of group of humans, group of trolls and other races who are not playable, make thene everything a new race because they identify as another group is completely asinine
This is a fantasy game of make believe, you can totally play a blood elf, or even a void elf and pretend that, use your imagination.
Difference is they are and always have been friendly with the Alliance and Hostile to Horde, there’s no reading into this my dude.
High Elves are in the Alliance , I’m sorry the games story is so difficult to understand for some.
I hope you remember that the next time the drive through gets your order wrong
Lol, there’s a big difference between “Blizz thought this would fulfill the desires of helfers” and… actually doing so.
It’s such a disconnect of logic, like pretending playable high elves are somehow inherently harmful to the game instead of a design choice. Try to pass opinion as fact is just, a sigh.
And this means what? That doesn’t change what I said. You made the claim that they’re constantly hostile and that just is not true.
Of course they lean more towards alliance just like ogres lean more towards horde. I didn’t think I had to say that.
It really is this we agree on. Some people have a hard time understanding that the high elves who were in the RTS games changed to blood elfs in WoW. Sure there are still some who are loyal/in the alliance and are not blood elfs but those numbers are small and for whatever reason blizzard decided that void elves would be a better fit.
I get it, Void elfs are not what people wanted but that is what we got for the game. And I’m sorry that the probability of blizzard adding another Blood Elf model for alliance as another allied race is not likely.
Not to mention that if they were to add another Blood elf model as a allied race for Alliance how much complaining would come from that “Why did horde get another new model and we got just another blood elf”
Asking for customization closer to the same skin tone of Blood elf is the best chance that anyone has but I doubt that will happen as well.
It was a miss opportunity for sure but that can be said for many of the allied races we got and what we could have gotten.
Just for reference in case people didn’t play when they added in Blood Elfs. The video doesn’t even call them Blood Elfs until half way through the intro and it is “Calling themselves Blood elfs” Not turned into, not changed into, not mutated, Just calling themselves that.
And if they eventually add them into the game then great, I’ll be happy to be wrong. I hope people have fun with that if it ever happens but many of us are just not holding our breath and stamping our feet because it didn’t happen.
and you’re sorry that i’m squished into such a tiny box for customizations because i am not allowed anything cosmetically belf, that they will probably have trouble coming up with customizations for velfs, if and when, they get around to giving them. even before shadowlands customizations, belfs already had something like 10 more hairstyles and 8 more hair colors and 8 more skin colors than i do. and i cant have any of them.
doesnt look like nightborne will have the same problem vs. night elves, since the devs made them different enough to not mistake them for night elves.
The nuance you seem to purposely ignore is that there is a seperate group of High Elves who are actually known as High Elves, not Blood Elves, and support the Alliance, not the Horde.
Blood Elves have the main story and are the main group of the former High Elves of Quel’thalas, but pretending that there isn’t a different group that is still represented in-game and that is opposed to your own elves, is disingenuous.
It frankly doesn’t matter that the “main group” is already on the Horde, because there is a separate group on the Alliance, waiting to get their own story expanded.
The saddest part of this is, unsurprisingly, Horde players only paying attention to their own stories, even with Blizzard shoving this particular one right in their face.
People are asking for an Alliance race, not a Horde race. That they happen to have similar appearances doesn’t really matter, because…and this may amaze you:
Enemy = red name. Red hitbox.
It’s not an alliance race though. They left the alliance and joined the horde. They’re asking for a splintered off handful of elves as a race.
If what I’m hearing about Forest Trolls becoming playable I don’t see why they shouldn’t be really; I mean they are their bread to their butter, what?
It’s not like they’re non existent in lore, some of them are walking around Theramore and whatnot. Unless I’m wrong, there are still some elves who’re loyal to the Alliance and weren’t present during the scourge’s invasion or whatever.
I do hope that if they add them in they’d resolve this issue that every High Elf model has blue glowing eyes.
Over a hundred named NPCs with dialogue is not “left the alliance”.
If you are so insistant on BELF = HELF, then you need to acknowledge that one race is in BOTH factions, which means they need to be treated like the Pandaran. That, I would be fine with, too.
You must have never played Warcraft before World of Warcraft.
And you seem incapable of using a search engine.
Make a neutral high elf AR. Add the new skin/eye colour options only to the High Elf AR. Provide a back story about how High elves splintered far and wide, since not all became blood elves and not all became void elves, there are other places they could have ended up. They developed the pink skin while being around humans in eastern kingdom, but some sailed off to other unknown land that were populated with dark skinned humans and brighter sun. It’s not far fetched and easier that evolving from a troll.
Imagine being this denial fangirl that they need to go get help.
