Just give the alliance high elves already

Sarcasm. Do you understand what is sarcasm?

They are STILL the same alliance confirmed by Metzen. Still the same horde, but under new leadership. Difference is the horde actually reached out to the blood elves.

Here we go. What did i dodge? I said i don’t understand your statement. You either explain or don’t. How am i dodging anything?

Okay take it down a notch, champ.

Unfortunately not really doable since the dk starting zone makes it very clear you are newly risen but if you had been in the service of the lich king for sometime it would have been very interesting to see the reactions to you by people whose family you had torn asunder. Also not sure if you just boosted that dk or if you just don’t remember but the reactions to you were less than favorable when you first went to your capital city until your racial leader basically pardoned you and the rest of the ebon blade.

We were talking about the WC3 forsaken though…

and yet you dont understand the forsaken were KILLED and ENSLAVED by arthas and share the same hatred as the high elves against arthas

the high elves went through an unimaginable disaster, and their story has been shaped by the aftermath of that disaster. it changed them fundamentally as a people. same with the forsaken

I don’t like people who make claims that are easily checked and don’t bother to check them. Especially when they are attacking me. Yes I am not a fan of the horde story doesn’t mean I haven’t played through it. Much like I completed the horde war campaign even though at times I found it quite literally sickening.

I am talking to the blood elves from an alliance point of view thank you.

My partner almost executed your race and prince. Are we good?

Yeah and they let you back amongst the living because they realised it wasn’t your fault.

Also this is a day 1 of Wrath DK.

blood elves*

Also that doesn’t really matter to Tim who saw his mom and dad butchered grew up hating the undead and now is supposed to be fine with joining with the forsaken ah well I’m sure you have enough magisters to mind control all dissenters.

The Alliance of Lord which no longer exists.

So yeah the Forsaken k got it.

ok then, so even if the two alliances are explicitly discrete political unions…

…then the blood elves have no ties to this new alliance and therefore aren’t “stolen”

There is literally no crossover between the membership of the Forsaken and Garithos’s forces.

There is more crossover between members of lord and the forsaken than there is between Stormwind and Garithos’s forces.

Once again ignoring evidence from actual sources.

The various cultures of Azeroth, who were never fast friends. There was no love lost between them. They had no common heritage. They had no common history. They really didn’t like each other down the stretch of years. But in the face of this onslaught—in response to these badass orc leaders—they came together. And they founded a union based on honor and righteousness. And a deep seeded drive to dispense indiscriminate justice upon those who threatened their homelands. This Alliance saved the world. Alliance, do you remember who you are!?

YOU ARE THE ALLIANCE OF LORDAERON!

Champions of justice and I love you for it.

Realistically the blood elves should be neutral and not really allied to either faction. If you insist on forcing a single faction the alliance make far more sense given that they have been allied with the night elves, sw, and dwarves before.

No, there’s less. Literally none of Garithos’s troops are now Forsaken. Even assuming the Grand Alliance has no relationship with the Alliance of Lordaeron, current Alliance factions supplied Garithos with troops.

Don’t chop our trees down and we won’t chop you down.

Yeah, because night elves have such a good K/D against the Horde.

I don’t particularly care what the person who thought the Richard Knack books were good lore believes since it’s fairly obvious they lack even a tenuous grasp on lore.

Ask Red Shirt Guy they aren’t the same alliance.

Wouldn’t need to chop your trees Daelin didn’t deforest the entirety of Durotar magically. :frowning:

Hell, just trade lumber with the orcs once in awhile and you’d get them out of Ashenvale forever.
