PvP, the kind that rewards gear anyway, is generally a group activity.
Why shouldn’t group content be the main show in an MMO?

This does not really make any sense, you want solo play but you say you do BG’s? BG’s are not solo at all. ALL pvp is not solo.
This is a straight lie, you are what is wrong with the game now. Pvpers used to get 99% of their gear from actually doing pvp and had a progression from bgs to arenas. Pvp gear now is trash and unused beyond 1 or 2 pieces if you are lucky
