I’m guessing gear is the biggest factor is being strong/winning? Because PvP felt horrible, I did 0 damage, and died instantly. It was a total joke.
Also, Horde lose every BG at all levels now, huh?

Yes, you are correct about everything you said. You must PVE exactly 2 and half months before you’re allowed to PvP. Hopefully you catch it before the next patch, because then you have start all over again. So much fun.

Looks like they are giving us 3 AZ pieces and HOA neck as Boosts? ilvl 68, 71 is super low. Can you even get into heroics?
1 BG played, with a fresh boosted toon at the end of an expansion.
It is highly recommended, to actually play for a few hours before jumping in.
Icecrown is giving away Mythic +8, +10 item level Epics every 10 minutes.
These Mythic ilvls strengthened players for the expansion, now they are available to everyone. who can tag a world boss. 
Even with the rare gear, BGs are… painful.
I got my Vulerpa shaman to about 106 ilvl using those rares and ~15k hp and it gets completely destroyed. The lack of azerite comes into play, but the poor thing just gets completely shredded by Mythic raiders and M+15 players.
Would not recommend BGing atm and would instead suggest transmog hunting and prepping for SL next week.

I leveled 2 alts last week and they’re both at like 110 ilvl now with 18k hp. It takes a day to gear up max.
And also its prepatch. All this gear is gonna get replaced with sl quest gear in a week.

18k is still far from 24k.

partysync into 40-49 for the most balanced pvp in the game. syncd 50’s get an ilvl 53 and players after level 45 have access to ilvl 60 crafted gear.

What class is 24k. My warlock is 131 ilvl with 22k hp and warlocks have extra stamina baseline. My dh is 133ilvl with 20k hp. 24k must be food and priest buffs.

It literally has always been like this, it’s been 15 years and people still expect to be at the same power level as soon as they hit max level as people that have been farming for months.
The only problem is the lack of honor gear that isn’t complete garbage, Wrath/Cata/MoP/WoD gearing worked, no idea why they insist on failed experiments.

No dps or healer spec has 24k unbuffed. Queuing at 2200 everyone averages like 19-20k. People need to stop cowering in low level party syncs to farm low level players because of these stupid excuses

That right there cannot apply since you used the number 18k to 24k. 18k is the number Demoniclily provided for people with gear obtainable within a day or two of hitting max level, without food flasks fort. Where did 24k come from? If you count those buffs then it would be 22k to 24k and your hyperbolic one-liner would be void.
At 50 you have access to cloak, neck and azerite pieces that absolutely destroy non 50 players. People who hang around at 40-49 despite being max level are just bad. Period. (Even for random bg players, imagine that) You think it’s more “balanced” because you have an overwhelming advantage. It’s not balanced.

tell me about this overwhelming advantage with a 53 ilvl while syncd lol. get over yourself. this thread is about a new 50 and wanting to pvp. neck/cloak level and essences arent part of a new 50’s gear so playing in 40-49 is the best alternative right now.

You said that 40-49 is the most balanced pvp in the game and I found it very hard not to point out the irony of a level 50 player saying that. It’s like a mythic raider with 140 ilvl going into random BGs and declaring BFA as having the most balanced pvp ever. It’s a flawed perspective. Besides, the 18k-24k hp is just an objectively false statement

They wont get that logic. You literally have to be a slave to PvE if you want to be competitive in PvP and doesn’t look like much will change in SL with the horrible time gated pvp gear still being worse than pve gear.

It’s not the same … when you level , your focus is to level , not optimize your toon. That’s what you do when you are at max .

horrible argument. Not everyone is leveling for the same reason. I literally level characters so I can be competitive in pvp without the hours of mindless grinding. I can be viable much faster in lower level brackets.
