So like the title says I purchased a second copy of war within epic edition on a second account under the same email address. I wanted this account to be clean with nothing on it which why I purchased it. I am trying to do a completionist run of the game and read quests and all that. Stuff I have never done before. When I started playing about 4 hours in I realized I had all the mounts and collectables I have on my first account. Is this supposed to happen or did I waste some money lol.
WoW licenses under the same Battle Net account (i.e., same email login) will share any account-wide items (such as mounts, toys, achievements, titles, pets, appearances, etc.).
You would need a different Battle Net account (i.e., different email login) in order to start fresh.
That is sad oh well I guess thanks for the quick reply
You’re welcome.
You may be able to ask for a refund on the purchase. Its not a given, but worth a shot. If you go that route I wouldn’t play anymore on that license until you get a response though.
Unfortunately, it would seem they’re outside of that window just by virtue of the time played.
Yeah I put in a ticket to see maybe if I could get it switched to another account but at this point like you said its a long shot. I doubt I could get a refund at this point. No worries though i will figure out something to do with the account. I should have done some research
If you’ve already submitted a ticket, let it ride. Worst thing they can do is decline it and you’re no worse off. The policy is what it is, but it never hurts to ask at least.
You might benefit from using a Recruit-a-Friend on the new account. It can be used on the new account you just made, or on an account in a new Battlenet account if you get a refund and make a new Battlenet account.
Thanks for the info. I will def have to look into this.
