Just a morning thought I had…Not sure if this had been said before or not, but here it goes! Honor should be account bound, I would much rather enjoy PvP with a decent geared toon and enjoy PvP, rather than get pooped on with a fresh 60 with no gear. Currently honor capped and would love to use it on another 60 to get a base set of pvp gear to get started. Anyone feel the same??

I 100% agree. and before people jump here saying but that toon didn’t earn blah blah blah… The toon still has to earn the conquest as that’s toon specific. also the renown, which is toon specific.

I’ve seen people propose this before and it’s not a terrible idea, I wouldn’t even be opposed to gear carrying over to alts like boa gear does.
honestly you shouldn’t have to do any of that for pvp, it’s storyline fluff that has no place in a PvP setting
even with dumping all of your honor into an alts gear you’re still gated by renown, which should be removed from pvp acquired items
With how much gear costs for honor for a full 197 set which at this point in the expansion is nothing vs 220+ compared to the time a 197 covenant armor set takes it should happen. They can just make it honor only and let conquest be earned on that specific toon i feel thats fair compromise but i doubt it will happen
It’d still be easier than buying 5 marks of honor that do nothing for me lol.
I don’t mind the conquest as much as I mind the renown. I don’t get why I should have to do PVE for pvp gear, but than why i’m gated on gear upgrades in Oribos from my renown.

Marks of honor, after you bought all the transmogs, can be used to make your character a lot stronger in BGs, with the purchase of potions and feasts and gliders.

Yea , but this idea would make too much sense though. And some players would feel like you skipped around their one-shotting honor farm teams.
Marks of honor seem to be a very low drop rate now. I don’t acquire as many as I did in past xpacs, at least.
I’ve had thousands in my bank, think they cap at like 999 a stack?, that are used for mog run bonus role tokens because AH gets flooded with pvp pots. It’s really a horrible currency with extremely limited options.
They could have release new mounts of existing models with armor and set them at like 500 just to give players something to spend them on — or god forbid pvp specific transmog sets
Love the idea but my issue is not getting honor. My issue is not being able to get past ilvl 200 cause rated is my only path to doing so.
this is probably the most pressing issue in pvp, not a rework of bgs that most players wrote off long ago. their task management is horrid in terms of prioritizing work
I wouldn’t be opposed to that. I would probably buy a feral set for my Druid and play some non-meta BGs if I didn’t have to farm a ton of honor just to gear a toon to goof off on in unrated BGs.

Yea I suggested that one time, let us use marks for pvp mounts, so like this spider mount, be purchasable in the next xpac. That way this seasons player can show it off.
This is true, maybe we could only do it for classes that benefit from better gear like:
Monks, shaman, priest, druids, DH’s, DKs, Warriors, Rogues, Pally’s, Hunter, Mages, and Locks.
Exactly, where you could play the spec or class you want and not get deleted in 3 seconds while having fun, neat concept right?
should also have sets and mog for titles, achievements, etc. like a bloodthirsty set, a warbringer set, arena master set, or weapon mog… something
looks like they’re too busy hiring in wokelords that focus on subpar storytelling than actually improving the game at this point
then that should tell you the game is not working in the overall sense of inclusivity, deleting less geared players isn’t a competition.
That would be cool also, I never thought about sets based on the titles. As far as their development, no clue what’s happened.
I mean, with some npcs, they offer two quests, so when you pick the one quest, they then shift and move from range, so you have to then catch them for the second quest. There are a few npcs that react in this way, which is a nuance.
Well as a clothie, I worry about the 4 rets, rogue/war/ww/war than cloth classes stacked lol Also, to specify, I’m talking about the premades fully geared farming lower geared randoms.
If I have at least the full honor gear to now participate in rated, the loss is what it is by that point. Attempting to get one shotted to gear that alt, when I could get it on a geared toon, seems more doable.
