People make up imaginary dates that come from no where on when this buff is released and then get mad when Blizzard doesn’t conform to their dates. IT WILL BE out after midsummer. IT WILL be out on 07/12. IT WILL BE out 07/19. Stop listening to made up dates of release and maybe you guys wouldn’t be let down.

Today marks them end of the term “weeks” which is solely why we expected it today.

Here’s some examples of other things that some of you defending the delay might relate better to, to help you understand.
In the coming hours, dinner will be ready.
The parts you ordered to make your repairs will arrive in several days.
In the coming weeks, your bonus will appear on your paycheck.
In the coming weeks, your stimulus check will arrive.
In the coming weeks, your family doctor will examine your significant other to OK them to safely begin having intimate relations with you again.
So, how many of those situations would you continue to patiently wait in silence for, when the standard expectation of time has passed, with no new updates or info from anyone involved, to assure you they are working on it? I think most of these scenarios Blizz gets tangled up in, could have been avoided by making follow up blue posts… not sure after all these years why they haven’t figured that out- which makes it look intentional, antagonistic, and spiteful.
And apparently someone just linked a tweet about "dont worry classic players we havent forgot about you, stay tuned. Really? LOL ya cant just hire some poor fool to make occasional posts in blue that dont promise anything but reinforce the idea that you are watching and you care?

They put it in retail where it wasn’t even announced and wasn’t needed.
What are you even crying about? It’s faster to boost a character currently in game than it will be to level with a 50% buff. If you care about efficiency, go buy some boosts or boost yourself.
I made it to 59, I will use this to level to 60 in case I wanna play Dragonflight.
Except they did update. It was on twitter, which I think probably wasn’t the best place to post the only update, but they said to stay tuned. No time frame, but it’s not silence. They are clearly aware that Classic players are eagerly awaiting this.
They should have posted this on the forums too though… I certainly don’t check twitter. I only knew about it because someone linked in another thread. It’s not even linked on MMO-Champion.

We’re asking for what we were told we would get weeks ago, that has now been given to people who didn’t ask for it and weren’t told they’d be getting it.
“Stay tuned” with nothing else is not an update.

“Stay Tuned” is the equivalent of “in the coming weeks” It doesn’t mean anything.
suggesting to “buy” xp from someone else is your solution. LOL bruh I think the game you should be playing is diablo immortal. Imagine thinking someone that wants fair treatment, and professional business practices is crying.

It’s an acknowledgement that they are aware that Classic players are looking forward to this and are probably wondering why it went to retail. Expect more soon… how soon? Who knows, but it seems reasonable that folks should probably hold onto their outrage at least for another few hours
