Unless they’re going “Full Blizzard”, the quest helper tool will need at least a couple of weeks of testing before pre-patch once it’s implemented, and even Blizzard should never go “Full Blizzard”.

Ha, i have. I think XP still hits tomorrow. They can literally just leave it on for 3 months it doesnt really matter.
The arugements that the pre-patch has to come some period of time after the XP buff make no sense. Blizzard can just change the timeline. The XP buff timing doesn’t HAVE to determine anything.

The post did say “in the coming weeks” and it is coming up to a month.
No rush to follow up with pre-patch but it would be nice to get this, it will take a lot of stress off people concerned about levelling new characters.

Technically, 24 weeks is in units of weeks.
It’s blizzard they always say this and never follow up with actual dates till it actually comes out, they haven’t given dates for 15+ years, Soon TM meme is real lol.

I mean, Blizzard specifically said they would do it on that timetable. And while yes, they can change it, it’s not in their financial interests to do so.
And then later the higher ups complain when players have legit issues… it’s crazy how they are investing and selling inclusivity but they are still the same company that literally toys and plays with money of people when it shouldnt take more than 5-10 mins of their “precious” time to answer something so simple.
One of the reasons why I quit retail is still there untouched.

Blizzard has time to secretly sneak WOTLK threads out of the WOTLK Beta Forums where they’re posted and instead dump them into the TBC forums where they’re now offtopic, but they can’t say a single word to anyone about anything at all. Zero community engagement.
At this rate I’d imagine the next Blizzcon will involve mandatory mouthgags for all non-staff.
To be fair, Kaivax’s ability to make statements is curtailed by people above them, who are also the ones probably instructing them to remove all the RDF threads from the Wrath Beta forum.
