has anyone leveled up since joyous journey went live in cata? im just wondering how long 80-85 takes atm.
I fired up my NE DK last night.
Loom helm and loom cloak. She has been on ice a good while so full rested. Not an optimized run with drinking and working the grill before I played lol.
Roughly 3-4 hours to reach level 83. RDF was slow this morning for me so that be more Deep holme questing xp. Which is kind of nice.
JJ for me lets me quest more but keep a nice xp rate.
I probably won’t top off the 85 till weekly reset. I like getting the points off the RDF runs so I can wait the 2 days.

Got my druid from 80-84 rn in around 2 days of fully questing through vashj’ir and reading and watching every cutscene and doing EVERY SINGLE QUEST. So not bad 
.

I lied and did some 83/84 work. I’d say 2.5 hours with some RDF “fun”. People ghosted, hang around a bit going…now this hurts xp per hour lol. ABout 1.5 million to go til 85 lol. Uldum cleaned out mostly.
Deepholme I left when it was help the good troggs. No rep given…I left.
Uldum is nice to see not corrupted. I know the place more from BFA stuff.
I’ll rush twilight highlands all fresh since nice density. Anduin’s quests is nice xp too. I just wished we could watch him get beat down. He wants to be emo boy later, I’d like to give him another reason to be emo lol. Beat his butt down twilight…git him!
Hit that at lunch break to get the NE her gimme wins in WG and TB lol. I am not proud of the honor, but I’ll take it none the less.
for 84 if in level appropriate areas its been 65 or 70 K quest turn ins. Mobs can be 10K kills. Again thats loom head and cloak.

took me 7 hours 80-85 with a few slow lfg dungeon runs added in. can probably do it much faster just questing or in a premade dungeon spam group
If anyone else is curious. It’s FAST. With the two heirlooms, I’ve leveled two from 80-85 since JJ came out. Some people quest fast or slow, so “hours” isn’t really giving you any info.
Clear Hyjal, you’ll be 83 to start Uldum. Avoid the non-rep Harrison Jones and instead go for the Fall of Neferset City questline (for the 325 armor reward), by then you’ll be 84 to open up the Twilight Highlands portal. You’ll be 85 either around finishing the TH portal or maybe a little further - so return to Uldum (for honored 333 rep items) or keep in TH.
Recommend clearing all of Hyjal, and skip Deepholm when you turn 82. That way you’ll hit Hyjal exalted in a few days of doing molten front dailies when you are 85.
I had zero rested XP, but did farm chests and rares, but as I went 80-85 in one day, didn’t have much time for chest/rare respawn.
TBCC portion flies by.
I got lucky and every dungeon was a new one with all the quests there for the taking. She hasn’t quested much. I had that char rdf’ing as she worked on 1 to 60 mining till I could hit fel iron rocks really,
Stopped at 68 after a nice run from 59 yesterday. That was the full head to chest loom setup.
Don’t forget to get that boost from the wickerman. It helps.
